My favorite NPC to unleash on my players is a gnome wizard named Orville Nevillbacher, who runs an "adventuring academy" themed ride in the middle of nowhere. He's a retired adventurer, and a conspiracy theorist.
My favorite NPC is one from a quick game that I only ran for two weeks. He was a socially awkward, gay, elf scientist named Matt that studied animal migration patterns. He wasn't really important for the plot but the whole party loved him and I adored doing his cute lil awkward voice. Most of my NPCs have catchphrases but I couldn't think of one for him so instead he just frequently pushed his glasses up his nose. Total sweetheart. Scared of frogs. Almost died like four times because he was weak. One of the PCs tried to ask him out but he just didn't pick up on it at all. I hope to bring him back someday. Also, beautiful work as per usual!
Socially awkward gay scientist is EXACTLY what I was hoping to hear! Matt sounds amazing, I hope you bring him back soon because how freaking adorable. It’s always those random NPCS that come from nowhere that turn out to be the most loveable. And thank you!
I really like how you lay out your notes! Highlighting is thoughtful and meaningful. I need to review my notes more often, and if I can make them as neat as you do I probably would!
Thank you! I feel like the camera and lighting gave me some leeway, the lines are clean but the handwriting is a DISASTER. I just fake it till I make it!
I just watched the previous video and commented that I was going to add an NPC and location list to my journal. And here you have it already! I am definitely going to draw inspiration from these, especially the travel log/timeline spread.
I'm going to start my own character journal real soon and I am so glad I found your videos, you have so many great ideas for things to include and how to structure them😊💕
Why is there so low views? This is so satisfying to watch, I would like to play Dungeons and Dragons but I haven´t found parners to play just yet, but let me tell you that your videos had helped me to organize the world I´m working on. Like I said, I love your videos, I will support you from now on :D
Thank you so so much! You are so sweet. I definitely feel like d&d is gaining a lot of popularity, so hopefully you can find some interested people soon. I was always shy about asking people if they were interested, but when I finally brought it up so many more people than I anticipated were 100% on board. And I hope these spreads can help you sort of pre-plan and organize your thoughts even if you’re not playing quite yet, or help you organize for other character/worldbuilding creative adventures! Thank you so much again, your kind comment really made my day.
Favorite NPC is from my current campaign. I stole the name "Pampelmousse LaCroix" from the Bluejay Dungeon World campaign. He's a Tabaxi Bard, and the party totally fell in love with him (on a lark I had him wanting to buy a local tavern to turn it into a night club - now they want to help). Then made the party-needs-fighter-support NPC to be "Moose"'s girlfriend, traveling out while Moose stays back home working on the tavern.
I LOVE this. Tabaxi can be so cooky and fun, sounds like LaCroix is quite the character! We have met a Tabaxi as well, described as “fantasy Elton John.” I feel like they would get on well with each other!
Hi SJ, if you play Stardew Valley or read the Nevermoor book series, i think those would both be great for a bujo month planner. You are my favorite youtuber and I love your videos. Stay safe and hopefully I'll see you in 2021!
I do play stardew valley! Thank you for the great idea. I’ve never read Nevermoor, but I was looking for a new book so perfect timing. Thank you so much for the sweet message, you stay safe too!

Notes are so hard to do quickly while staying organized!

ooh - what's that glue dispenser machine?
It’s a tombow permanent adhesive roller! I got a pack of 3 from Micheal’s, they work really well.
Very niche but that doesn't mean it's not good.
This looks interesting, but the sound is too low. Music level is find, I can just barely hear you.
