- I had so much fun with this painting I started off with A 24 inch wood pine round board that I spray painted front and back with a silver spray paint.
I used white and purple and green from resin colors .com
Waited 24 hours to add the more colors and the diamonds with some glitter.

Hi Linda I always wear a respirator but this time I did not ...I have to get new filters for my respirator and I can’t seem to find them anywhere they’re sold out things are hard to come by during this Covid but yes always wear a respirator

Hi Monica can you give any tips on keeping the resin from making "drips" on the underside . I tried painters tape and still had drips that I had to sand down .
The only thing I do is to wipe the bottom of the painting A half hour to 45 minutes after I am done to get all the drips off i use a grinder if there is drips it takes seconds to get them off. Hopefully this helps a little thanks so much Johnny have a great Christmas stay safe❤️❤️
Hi. I want to use the resin. It’s by east coast resin. I see a lot of people use this for their resin pyramid but they don’t mention how it is. . I want to know if it’s good so have u used it?
Yes I have definitely used East Coast resin but I would never use it in a mold there is way too many bubbles you need a casting resin for that I use the Epoxy store resin liquid diamond❤️
@@MonicaBarnesArt okay so just to be sure. I am a beginner and never tried resin pyramid and it’s the one thing I really want to do. So for beginners I should use resin u recommend ? But in case I don’t find it. Is there a cheaper alternative I know that resin is expensive either way. But if I don’t find that brand resin near me wat other brand that is a bit cheaper I can buy? And I’m sorry for all the questions. I finally found someone who can help me since no one would respond

As long as you live in United States you should be fine with this resin it’s actually not that expensive it’s one of the cheapest resin out there I used the iquid diamond from the epoxy resin store and don’t forget if you enter the code Monica10 you can get 10% off at check out . any little bit helps thanks so much and I will definitely answer any more questions you have stay safe happy new year❤️❤️
East coast resin is not good for pyramids it has too many bubbles you can use it for pyramids if you don’t want anything clear if you just are using colors but it’s not good for casting Anything clear
