I really prefer the kind of vlog like : a day in my life or just like this video with the fam instead of being seated and talk. So happy to be with you on youtube since so many years xxxx :)
Hey hey, toddler kindy educator here ( but not a mum so take my advice with a grain of salt) what I tend to do at kindy if the parent wants to ditch the dummy is very small little steps. split her routine into different sections and slowly remove it from one section at a time, start with parts of the day where she doesn't desperately want it like maybe meal times, play times and then last sleep time. not sure if she has one but parents RAVE about these comfort toys called riff raffs ( also referred to as raffys ). they are a comfort toy that has white noice in it to help them sleep, id say 90% of my kiddos have one. so you could give that a go. hope that helps a little xx
I've been travelling overseas for 3 years and seeing all the wildlife made me homesick 🥲 Also loved the video Georgie! Cannot believe Ivy is already 2!!! ♥️
Just after our daughters 2nd birthday one of her dummies got a hole in it, we showed her and she said oh it’s broken it has to go in the bin 😅 she took it straight to the outside rubbish bin herself, and we quickly got rid of any others we had in the house! First night was a bit rough but we kept talking about how she is a big girl now and it honestly went so much better than we expected so fingers crossed for you guys!!!
We have 3 girls and have done a different way every time - did the dummy fairy who came and took the dummies to give to little babies. We planted the dummies and they grew into lollipops and we did the swap your dummy for a toy at the shops. All worked pretty seamlessly

I really enjoyed this vlog style, you should do it more often. To be honest the sit down style is pretty boring so I definitely prefer it this way.
as soon as Tim said it is only one word… I knew it would be patience hahaha
My baby girl Eli was born the same day as Ivy, I can’t believe our babies are 2 🥺 it’s wild.
