Yeah, a new video! I saw this on a cane a few years ago and have been really wanting to try it. Seeing this, I feel confident I could. Thank you so much. I absolutely LOVE your ramblings and your spontaneous way of doing things.

We didn't miss anything when your camera wasn't centered so don't worry on that count. I Love your improvisation, it's good to see how you generate a project.
This stitchless design is something I had never thought of, thank you!

Jane Taylor thanks. The camera screen I have is only a few inches. It’s not easy working to it. Thanks for letting me know

@@UKSaddlerytrainingcoursesuk I just recently got involved with leather working, and love your videos. I am here in Fort Worth, Texas, but wish I were in Scotland. We are dying of heat! 115ºF heat index a couple of days ago. Anyway, I was blessed several years back to visit Skye, where my ancestors are from. (I am a MacLeod.). Some day, I plan to be back across the pond and want to stay for a while.
My degree from the 1990s is in Art, but currently I'm working on becoming a veterinarian, along with raising my four kiddos, dog, cat, and flock of 14 chickens. Needless to say, I needed a hobby to take my mind off of the daily grind- a.k.a. leather!!
So far, I have done only minimal tooling, but have learned numerous stitching techniques. I made my son a vest for his Guides Troop (similar to Boy Scouts) and my cousin's baby a leather basset hound. I've used my scraps to make leather lace like I saw on one of your videos. I had to cut it by hand, which took forever. Results were great, though. Braided bracelets, dog leash, etc. It's so fun, and the possibilities are apparently endless!!!
Keep it up. Your Scottish accent is music to my ears! (Unlike my Texas twang, which drops my intelligence level drastically in many people's eyes...ha!)

Never seen this before, real interesting. I bet if you put a braid in it'll hold very well and dam near forever.
