Woah for real? I'm so excited. Alice luckas strategy has normalised winning trades for me also. and it's a huge milestone for me looking back to how it all started
Hauled step deck steel till I was 66 , getting too old ,with 2 knee replacements. Could not tarp the loads anymore . Boss said I could work anytime I wanted in the summer time, when tarps were not needed, I SAID I,D RATHER GO FISHING . HE WAS A GREAT BOSS.
While flat bedding a few places I went to had a hoist to lift the tarp up and over the load. Loved those places. Now I do a roll tite which can suck come winter
I pulled a 40foot flat with a 1967 Pete conventional back in the 70s. On the other side of the road from the yard was a pipe company. This is in California and the pipe would sit in their yard for months some times over a year. We had to tarp our load even in the summer. The loads would go from Antioch CA ( 30 miles from SF bay area). They would go mostly to the LA area. All sunny hot and dry areas.
I used to live in Oshawa and thought the Winter in the GTA were bad. After moving to NorthWestern ON for the last 4 years, try flatbeds in -30 and -40 and even -50. That will give you a WHOLE brand new perspective! specially since it's so cold the truck loses it's heating as the coolant become cold again. One of the reason I left the towing industry after half a decade in it - done playing in the Snow.
Great video bro you got it all sewn up I like it the way you present yourself and your straps and chains and man you are the coolest dude I was the roofer and worked in the freezing cold to many many many years so many times I had to do the same thing hide for a while warm up in a bulkhead on a roof just wait five or 10 minutes But when you strap something down and you think it’s gonna get wet or frozen, the best thing is to cover whatever you strapping down with an extra layer of top or plastic even cardboard helps and then when you get to where your destination is you don’t have anything on your usable tops the snow in the ice collects on the top of yourplastic or fiberglass or canvas tops even cardboard is a big help there’s new things out too called rubber they make moves with it. You could even cover your tops with rubber it freezes, but it stays pliable and flexible. That’s also a good trick to keep your tops clean OK bro I’m signing out good luck and goodbye and I’ll say prayer for you bro.
Great video, thank you for sharing! I’m a flat bed long haul trucker drive pretty much anywhere in North America, and mostly in US. I normally don’t drive through the mountains at west coast in winter time, but nowadays my company had send me there quite a few times already. Can you do a video on put on chains? I want to learn the most efficient way to do it in winter. Thank you.
You should look into alternative to chains! A) Snow Socks B) Manufacture AutoSock C) They Come in different tire Sizes for Autos, SUV, Tractors D) Typical time to install less than 2 minutes per Tire! The only con is; certain states may only allow chains! Once you start using Socks you will never want to go back to chains! 😮😱🤣
Hit 200k today. Thank you for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last months. Started with 14k in last month 2024
Wow that's huge, how do you make that much monthly?

Sincerely speaking. I will continue to trade and stick to expert luckas daily signals and guides as long as it works well for me.

Thanks for the warm words and advice! Stay safe out there!
Love your title man lol we need more truckers like you. None of those flip flop wearing vacationers
Have always said, a couple of minutes to throw a couple extra straps never hurts.
Better to have too much than too little!
15 years ago I tarped and loaded trailers at the steel tubing factory I worked at, yeah you couldn’t pay me enough to flatbed 😅
Totally get it!
💥💥THANKS KEEP PUTTING OUT THE GREAT INFORMATION 💥💥

It’s not that bad here in Texas! Granted, the coldest I’ve ever chained a load is about 28°
Luckyyyyyyyyy

Flatbed sucks. Dry van same prices way less work. Only talking about loads from loadboards
