I went to the gorge day one and caught 60 fish but only 2 was over 30cm. I could not get the fish on nest to bit. So I knew day two 90% of the guys is going to go to the gorge so I went to go and find water that had less pressure and was "unfished" day one.
Imo, you did nothing wrong, you took a calculated risk and unfortunately you lost. But how could you have known? Pretty much any sane person would have fallen into the same trap. Maybe, just maybe there was something you could have changed that would have got some more bites, but we will never know. Well done rudi, unlucky, but you deserved a better placing imo.

Out of interest what made you go that way on the second day? Seemed like the gorge into the main dam was the better option for guys who could travel.

The right definitely has really good fish there . Caught so many the weekend before ..... just bad luck for me . But we'll played Nico 💪
