      Sad, he wasted his life in a cult. The problem for Adventists and their like is that they have done with the law, the same thing the Pharisees did with the law and that was to abuse the law and the commandments, to tell everyone how righteous they are, *rather than what sinners they are. They abuse the law of the Sabbath do evil, to lift themselves up and become holier than thou, when the law was there to deeply humble and condemn them to hell and torment their conscience* that they might seek Christ. The Adventists and their like refuse to fall on their face before God and admit what sinners they are. *Instead, the Adventist use the law to *"Appear righteous before men"* and then tell everyone how they *"keep the commandments of God"* when they know they don't and never have.
      Thus, saith the scripture: Rom. 7:13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, *working death in me* by that which is good (the law) ; *that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.* But, they don't see themselves as "EXCEEDINGLY SINFUL" Instead, the Adventists and their like say that the commandment makes them *exceedingly righteous!* as did the Pharisees.
      Rom. 6:23 For the *wages of sin is death* ; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
      Romans 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were *by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death* .Rom. 6:23 For the *wages of sin is death* ; but the *gift of God* is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. The Adventists don't see salvation as a GIFT FROM GOD, but rather something they have EARNED, through Sabbath keeping. And, that is why Sabbath keeping is so important to them, because they know it is not of Christianity but of the law. And, instead of seeing the law as something that declared them sinners and worthy of hell, they think it brought forth righteousness and eternal life and the name "Jesus Christ" is only a way of showing how that righteousness is attained by becoming a Jew and Sabbath keeper like Christ. Thus, to them Grace and faith is made void the law and the name of Christ is only a means of teaching the law, not the "Righteousness of Faith!" .
      And, now they deceive themselves and the public daily *blowing the trumpet* about their own righteousness through Sabbath keeping.
      When you press the Adventist about Sabbath keeping, *they all admit, they don't keep it according to the commandment* . Thus, making them the biggest hypocrites ever to profess to be Christians.

      @@vonn2221 Doug Batchelor was confronted by one of my friends concerning the enormous amount of abortions (the murder of the unborn) and asked why he didn't confront the SDA leadership *about the 250,000 infants a year they abort* . His reply was, *"You really want me to get fired, don't you?"* . That speaks volumes about both the SDA and Doug Batchelor. He and they have sold their soul and eternal life to a murderous cult of the innocent. *Oh, did they tell you how they keep the commandments of God!!* >

    Titus 2:11-13
    For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope-the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ

    When we repent , are we also confessing our sins?

    • @willeats
      @willeats Рік тому +1

      Repentance is a turning away from your wrongdoings. The original Hebrew word “shuv” which we translate to repent means “to return” as if you have gone astray from something, in our case God and his ways. Proverbs 28:13 gives us guidance from the wisdom of Solomon “One who conceals his wrongdoings will not prosper,
      But one who confesses and abandons them will find compassion.” If recognize that our ways are wrong, and we want to turn back to God, in doing so it should come at a time where we are also willing to confess our sins to God, communicating to Him that we see that our way was wrong. A prime example is of the prodigal son in Luke 15. The son went back to his father’s house, confessed that he had sinned and was not worthy to even be called a son, and it was then that his father expressed compassion, preparing a feast for his return instead of dishing out justice for his wicked ways.
      Repentance is not the confession of sins, but to turn away from your sins of effort to return back to God’s holy will. But in order to turn away from your sins, it is important to recognize that they are sins in the first place and they have put a roadblock between you and God. Confessing them allows God to forgive them by the Blood of Jesus that has already been sacrificed for you, restoring your relationship with Him and opening the door to the compassion and many spiritual blessings He has in store for you. I pray in Jesus name this helps your understanding! God bless.

      Of course you need to confess your sins to repent. Otherwise what are you repenting of? Repent for the sake of repenting?😂NO
      And you should be specific, confess the specific sin, and all details, what have you done, not just ''Lord, I confess all my sins, forgive all my sins.''
      But what do you want God to forgive, and pray in Jesus' Name.

      No, it's not automatic. You need to confess your sins to Jesus in order to repent.
