- NFS Hot Pursuit (Remastered). One of the best Need for Speed games that I never played when I was younger. I always heard good things about NFS Hot Pursuit over the years and how the game successfully captured the spirit of some of the Need for Speed titles prior to the groundbreaking Need for Speed Underground by EA Blackbox. Despite the insane amount of glitches and the multiplayer being extremely broken, Hot Pursuit Remastered will remain one of the most iconic racing games of all time

Sorry, but I consider the original PS3/X360 version to be definitive, simply because of the cars that are missing from the remastered version. They were pretty useful cars too.
Let's be real here. Need for speed hot pursuit's car sounds sound realistic cuz of how loud they are

I would honestly opt for the taillight trail effect from this game mixed with the little nos delay from Payback, mix those two together and you'd feel like an absolute rocket
I don't think the delay is ideal for this type of gameplay. Full nitrous bottle is the only counter of EMP lock-on for police. Its responsiveness is vital. ua-cam.com/video/JRrOLf4zonk/v-deo.html

About what happened in 13:14, your teammate didnt throw the spikes, the racer used them, but since the racer was too close to the cop and they were going over 200 mph, they didn’t spawn completely in time, hitting you instead.
So there's a delay when spike is actually active
@@deltadex7 Exactly. It doesn’t activate immidiately.
@@deltadex7 To be exact, it takes time for them to fully expand, as shown by HudsenTech and HDMC Corporation. It just looks like they deploy near the back due to how slow the car is in their demonstration (mainly to emphasize the expansion mechanism).
And the text above the map at 13:18 indicates who spiked to whom. Names are colour coded by role.

5:23 Spike strip deployment can be heard before they are seen.
5:35 Even outside of jammer range, do not waste spikes while that is active. Apparently, jammers can jam ALL spike strips map-wide.

That's why at intersections, it is best to just coast, put some distance (brake a bit, if needed) and wait where will Most Wanted go. Most Wanted's nitrous recharges more slowly anyway, plus the range of "line-of-sight" is generous.

8:05 has been a glitch since 2010. If you turn around during any event on that track you can hop on the highway and jump to that barrier. It's busted af but it's good to know. Tryhards mostly use it.

At 13:12 that wasn't your teammate who spiked you. The racer he was chasing tried to spike him, but the spikes have a small delay before they fully deploy, during which delay they slid right under him and appeared in front of you.
Yeah, the lights were red. Also, knowing Tofuboi, he wouldn't do that lol

@@aksGJOANUIFIFJiufjJU21 Even if it had no delay, the lights of the spikestrip were red, indicating that it was used by a racer. Cop spikestrips are blue, but I wouldn't have to tell you that.

Did you know that you can see cyan smoke when you are a cop and it is night time (Deploying spike strips or your tyres pop)

After watching your Random Moments i'm considering buying this or Heat, what do you reccomend?
If you want a more arcade experience, and be able to play as a cop, buy hot pursuit. But if you like an actual story with you only being a street racer, buy heat. They are both good games, not gonna lie. Hot pursuit is more mission based, but heat has a smaller campaing.

Nitrous is immediate, while Turbo is more potent but delayed.
