I heard that Epsom salt can be used instead of white glitter. The white glitter that I have has a pink tint to it. Epsom salt doesn't and it's cheap. I haven't tried it yet, but I could see how it will work.

For light colored Glitters you can spray paint or paint it with a base coat color of what you decide to use for your project
