Damn, a second incredible western mini-park in the beginner bracket! I think this contest is making a few people excited about western a bit more! The landscaping in this map is amazing, and that includes everything outside the 40x40 boundaries. It makes it feel completely immersive inside this mini-park! The dark ride was really fun, and the coaster was relentless, I didn't want it to end! There was so much detail and variation in the theming, which is rare to find with any western themed mine train. Very minor feedback: I don't know if it's just the perspective Jonny chose to ride in, but a couple of the transitions were a bit sharp. Maybe it could just mean that a couple of the turns need some extra banking, I'm not sure. But honestly, it's one of the best mine trains I've ever seen! Also, I think the carousel could do with being skinned a little more. Maybe it just needed a small canopy/roof over it or something, I'm not sure, but everything else looked highly detailed and polished. Overall, stunning mini-park, this is definitely a strong contender for first place in the beginner bracket, in my opinion!
Amazing work Spag, saw this coming together on discord & it was obvious even then that you'd be at the top end of this bracket & knowing how quick you pulled this together just makes it more impressive. One of the most original horror heights I've seen too!
Best use of terrain I've seen so far. LOVE the layout, and while the landscape is "unrealistic" in the sense of a theme park, the layout feels very true to a themed land, like Avatar, or Star Wars Land... two hero rides, and a small kiddie ride for the family. The division of the canyon makes it feel even bigger. Even though you went with the minimum requirements of ride number, I didn't feel bare at all. An amazing example of giving all the rides breathing space. I'm blown away. Big congrats!
I think my fav detail of this park is after the explosion at the top of the horror heights ride, the water tower on the *outside* breaks and spills. Not sure if that's deliberate timing or just got real lucky in this video at 13:43 but if it's like that so the explosion has more meaning to anyone looking up at the rocks from the town area, it's pretty amazing attention to detail and creating a cohesive, immersive theme.
I loved that mine train ride ... had that Disney vibe to it ... such good use of levels ... loved that the bridge had train tracks on it, maybe for next time see if you can make it so the train track carry on into the path running up to a train station a train in it. Would be cool ... over all though an amazing park and a great job on the theming
Ah, a very good western park. The town was really well done and reminded me a lot of Calico Ghost Town in the southern California desert. If I was a billionaire, this is what I would love to add to said historical site as it would all fit. I, like Johnny ADORED the mine train ride, and I see it as a true contender to even the ream Big Thunder Mountain rides at various Disney parks. This is a true contender, yet I felt starved to not see it at night.
The real one actually! There really is a canyon on one side and a mountain on the other exactly like this park. Of course there are much larger mountains its nestled into, but the geography is quite similar.
LOVE this park! Very well made, especially love the angles and layout of the main square. You did an excellent job at creating a western area that isn't boring to look at! Easily in my top 3 so far.
This park was A LOT of fun! Elevator ride was a hilarious story, beautiful scenery, the rollercoaster was an exciting experience! 3:22, "Circle the wagons" clever!
It was the undertaker first aid building for me. But yo this is amazing. You really utilized the space so well. I’m very impressed. The coaster was so fun!! The theming...just wow. Amazing job!
Yeeeeeeee haw! What a park. The canyon mine train is easily one of the best mine trains this channel has ever seen. This bracket is killer. Time to go to the saloon and have some whisky.
I've seen a number of these parks so far and I'm commenting a 2nd time to say this one feels the most immersive so far. Props to creator. If such a place only existed.
Awesome, awesome, awesome park. I love Western. It's one of my favorite themes, and this does so much with it. That is one of the best Canyon Runners I have ever seen, and the Horror Heights is the best ride skin ever. I have almost nothing to ask for or change about this park. The only minor detail about it is that I wish the scenes in the Horror Heights were a bit quicker or had some more motion. I understand the limitations of the game and of the animatronics though, so it's nothing on the fault of the creator. I would be shocked if this wasn't top five material, and given the amount of phenominal parks that we've seen since the contest started is saying a lot. There is not a park so far that I haven't thought was stellar, and this is even going beyond that. So well done to the creator.
Just when I think the Western theme in this game got completely burnt out of unique ideas, THIS shows up and shows that Western can still amaze! The only real fault I see is that rollercoaser clips through some parts of the scenery, but even that can be given a pass due to how damn good the rollercoaster layout is! Where did all these beginners with such amazing creativity come from?! BTW, when Johnny said "For this one i think we're going to have to... spoil it", that got me to laugh lol.
It's a clean park. Rollercoaster was outstanding. However, I feel there is nothing new. Other creators have really pushed the limit. Don't get me wrong, I love it but I was expecting a little more madness.
Channel5 Gaming I can see the playlist is at 31, theres two videos a day, we are at 22 public videos, 9 private, one can assume the 31st is the DQ video, so 8 left of the qualified, 8/2 is four. Maths.
Can I request this being updated as a larger park? I would like to see this park larger in the future with more ride and a train transportation ride that you take to get deeper into cannon and other area of the park. Also love this place
Western themed parks are some of my favorite things! Can anyone help or tell me what the music on the Canyon Runner coaster is? I can't figure it out, but I wanna listen to that music on its own!
I'm pretty sure he didn't title the video "BEST WESTERN" and had the hotel franchise in mind. It's titled that because it's one of the best western themed mini parks in the bracket. Nothing weird about it.
Dude I wish I was this good but I’m not an that’s why I quit planet coaster I while ago because I can make a really good coaster track but no matter how hard I try I just cant seem to decorate which is quite sad but what ya gonna do
for me its a 5/10 GOOD THINGS -view from above and the town -buildings are detailed -coaster is smoth -mine ride entrance is good -mine ride is ok i like the explosions on the end of any scene but it's not that special BAD THINGS -ride go trough the terrain a lot -a lot of objects can be touched by guest -only 3 rides -coaster entrance just ok -feels a bit too open trough the terrain
The best western park ever. It's by far my favorite. I'll be in shock if it doesn't get top 5.
Its not even in my bracket and it has "Prospector's Playland" beat!

I think at some point, Jonny pressed the fast forward button on the second lift, and then he forgot to turn it off. thats why

‘Twas intentional. Didn’t expect anyone to notice it aha :D

You talking about the actual town of Calico on the way to Vegas or talking about Knott's Calico? I'd like to own either one!
The real one actually! There really is a canyon on one side and a mountain on the other exactly like this park. Of course there are much larger mountains its nestled into, but the geography is quite similar.

9:54 I love the Big Thunder Mountain reference with the Rainbow colored stalagmites as you go up the lifthill
that rockwork is amazing!
This park was A LOT of fun! Elevator ride was a hilarious story, beautiful scenery, the rollercoaster was an exciting experience!

Best coaster of the bracket so far! Amazing stuff
That song on the Mine train is "Planet Bluegrass"
Wow this is one of the best westernparks i have seen in planco so far. Love the buildings and the coaster was so much fun. Great job on this Park.
Yeeeeeeee haw! What a park. The canyon mine train is easily one of the best mine trains this channel has ever seen. This bracket is killer. Time to go to the saloon and have some whisky.
Absolutely love this, great theming and the runaway mine train was brilliant, congrats the the creator, top work my man 👍🏻
Woah. Very impressive creation. I'm usually not too keen on the Western theme, but you definitely maxed out the opportunities it provides here.
Am I the only one or is the music so moving from Planco? Something so,nostalgic and emotion never experienced anything like this
I've seen a number of these parks so far and I'm commenting a 2nd time to say this one feels the most immersive so far. Props to creator. If such a place only existed.

Beyond incredible. This feels so "lived in" too
That rockwork alone is amazing! I could never pull something like that off and this is the beginner bracket for crying out loud! Most impressive
All of these "new beginner" creators are killing me with their Master-tier creations! xD There is no way my beginner entry is going in the Top 10s.
If this is made by SpagBolChomper does that make it a Spaghetti Western?
This park has so much character. Great job
Jonny every video: "This is a top 3 contender!" :P Joking aside though, this is amazing. Loved that coaster, especially.
Yeah, this definitely gets MY vote. For what it's worth - outstanding!
These new builders are on their game!
Yee haw and giddy up! 🤠👍
beautiful western park! Great job!
From now on when you hear that Bluegrass.... you need to just say "Yee Haw" through the whole thing, you're messin up the fiddle solos, lol.
Why does it get harder and harder to vote with every episode?! 😭😂😂
love the coyote canyon it was a reminder of one of the best wildest minetrain coaster

Wow when I get the game I’m gonna make a western park
Love the content
this was the best, most def a top 5
It's a clean park. Rollercoaster was outstanding. However, I feel there is nothing new. Other creators have really pushed the limit. Don't get me wrong, I love it but I was expecting a little more madness.
Even tho I never got to finish my minipark. I really love how this contest is delivering really good quality
"If a game designer wanted inspiration, he need not look far"
how do they turn such a plane open sandbox into a place with so many mountains and structures? it looks nice
Western Hype! Four more days of Beginner guys!
how do you know that?! : /
Channel5 Gaming I can see the playlist is at 31, theres two videos a day, we are at 22 public videos, 9 private, one can assume the 31st is the DQ video, so 8 left of the qualified, 8/2 is four. Maths.
Channel5 Gaming Unfortunately, it was really obvious with the playlist number. It wasn’t difficult for people deduce from that. 😕
Great Job!
I absolutely love this park! That canyon runner is amazing. However, are there only 2 flat rides? Shouldn't there be three? Or do I have that wrong?
Can I request this being updated as a larger park? I would like to see this park larger in the future with more ride and a train transportation ride that you take to get deeper into cannon and other area of the park.
Also love this place
The Canyon Runner was so fun 😁😁

Western themed parks are some of my favorite things! Can anyone help or tell me what the music on the Canyon Runner coaster is? I can't figure it out, but I wanna listen to that music on its own!
Park entrance contest when
It should be after the Action coaster contest
What was in the tunnel just to the right of the Horror Heights? Looked like the path went in there.
It was just the exit to the Horror Heights :)
HOLY ****
Hey Johnny why did you name your video after a hotel brand, kinda wired man
hahaha!
I'm pretty sure he didn't title the video "BEST WESTERN" and had the hotel franchise in mind. It's titled that because it's one of the best western themed mini parks in the bracket. Nothing weird about it.
