I would've preferred giving the exterior of the Muppet*Vision 3D theater the sign with the statue of Kermit that was given to the former Disney California Adventure version, the yellow, orange and red hot air balloon with the image of Kermit's face on top of the clock tower, and the statues of Fozzie, Gonzo and Animal for the Fountain.
I hope they never get rid of this, because this is literally the last of MGM’s studio charm. Now that the park is about being in the scene instead of behind, and of Star Wars, who knows what fate Muppet Vision 3D will go.
Originally Muppet Vision 3D was supposed to have been part of a much larger Muppet Studios. That also would have included The Muppet Movie Ride-A misguided tour through movie history Muppet Style.
Technically there’s more than one piece of MGM Studios charm that’s still there. Hollywood Boulevard, Sunset Boulevard, Tower of Terror, Fantasmic, The Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular, etc.
As a life long Muppet fan, this is probably the best possible show at Disney. It is cool to see on video, but it's WAY more epic in person. Feels just like you've been thrown into the Muppets Studio.
@@emmabobemma5 the lines that live in my head rent free is probably “How’d you guys get here?!” “We entered a contest!” “Yeah! We lost!” 😭😭🤣 it literally me.
If you go back to this, tape one of the lenses of the 3d glasses over your camera lens: that will fix the headachey double-vision that's present throughout this clip (the off-screen elements will still look fine)
Love this show. Miss having it in California. I think Disney would be making a huge mistake if they got rid of it. It's the Tiki Room of Hollywood Studios. It's a nostalgic, fun show that is quintessentially Disney and Henson. If it were just the film, maybe it wouldn't be such a loss, but the whole experience with the animatronics and in-theatre effects make it irreplaceable in my opinion.
I love hearing a kid go "That was so neat!" Brings joy to me knowing this and the Muppets can still have an effect on kids today.
Jim Henson would be proud!
The way that sam gasps after kermit says "you got a minute and a half" will never not be funny

@@WDI2008There was also suppose to be two restaurants as well: The Great Gonzo's Pizza Pandemonium and Swedish Chef's Video Cooking School
It's also Jim Henson's swan song! The OG Kermit is still alive as long as this show continues.
How do we tell them chat

Love the Muppets. So glad this show is still at DHS.
This is truly some next level Muppet chaos. I love it!
Don't tear it down! The new rollercoaster must go to where the launch Bay is standing. Remember, Muppet lives matter!😊
Sam is really just the best part of this show gets me every time
“It’s a glorious 3 hour finale!” “You’ve got a minute and a half!” *AUDIBLE GASP*

This is 1 of the attractions where I can just listen to the audio and know exactly what's going on. 1 of my favorite things to do there.
I really love the 3D effects
Miss this show at Disneyland. wish they would bring it back or do something with the franchise.
I remember looking behind me where the light was shining in December when sweetums showed up off the stage

I loved this show!
Saw it last month. Still my favorite!
Great show!! Never seen it before but I'm definitely going to check it out in the future the next time I go to DisneyWorld!!
i always liked the two old guys in the balcony
When I first watch this! I thought the whole auditorium was on fire like it was a nightmare

Is that Steve Whitmire voicing Kermit in Muppet Vision 3D
No, it was the man himself Jim Henson, in his final project…

If I use the 3D glasses, does this video appear in 3D?
Lol no
I can't believe Disney is getting rid of this
No! DISNEY NO…………. taking out the Muppets.
Disney: Don’t worry, we are just moving them to McQueen’s current spot.
It’s not confirmed they are getting rid of it
