Thanks so much for making these videos, extremely helpful... I second Jean Thomas' question as I am printing bottles and need customer logo to be on opposite side of my own laser engraved one. I'm having trouble with this as the rollers turn (seemingly randomly though I'm sure there is a reason) before printing starts.

Further investigation: It seems the first print is fine, the machine doesn't rotate before printing. But with all following repeats when I change the printed bottle for a fresh one, the printer first rewinds the rotation made in the previous print before starting the print. This messes up my location :-/ Any ideas Trevor?? :-D

We are one of the users of this machine. We have it for almost two years now. The quality of the prints is not bad. But, the bad news is that we have to change out the print-head for the 4th time already since it was installed. And pricey printhead is unbearable. ($2200 a piece here in Indonesia).

This is good feedback for someone intending to invest on this machine. Why multiple head change?, is it your production is high, or is it a full with the heads? Is the production rate and return on investment justified to head change?

@@mukarimu I have had no issues at all with the printer. I don't use it 10 hours a day, but I believe if you follow the maintenance you should be OK, it's designed not to have issues by constantly circulating the inks, carrying out cleaning processes automatically...

The machine's dealer in Thailand also told me that printing cup will effect the printhead like you said.
The said that printing curve reflect UV to the printhead.
So I was thinking about making a cover to cover the curve part of the cup.
But I didn't dare to try yet due to the price of the printhead...
and I'm still very new to my printer.
Thx for comment. This really confirmed to what my dealer said.

Johnny, it is very rare to have head replacements on these units. what was the head damages caused by. light reflection or head crashes? we have many machines over 8 years old running original print heads and original capping station. did your dealer train you properly on operation and daily maintenance procedures?

Do you have any video showing how to have the rotary tool start at a specific location so that you could for example have your artwork directly on the opposite side of the logo on the tumbler?

How long did that cup take to print? And can that printer also print on book material like cloth or leathers?

    • @pdsequipment

      Paul,
This cup took around 3 minutes. It can print on some fabrics and does really well on leathers. Give me a call and I can print some samples for you. 615-866-7453 Trevor Bates
