@@TheQuaadFather The fact that he didn't do any research on how long it takes is the most unrealistic part of the whole thing. There's a reason it takes teams of people LITERALLY years to put together long-format animation :))))
@@vtr0104idk really don’t think it’s unrealistic, the joke is based around how depressed and out of sorts he was without realizing. Him thinking it was longer is so funny because of that.
i took a script writing class on comedy and one class had an indepth analysis on fred armisen's venezuelan character. Parks and rec is literally taught in books just not history ones
I also took a screenwriting class and our examples for comedic writing were from Parks and Rec because of how top tier their writers are with comedy. This show is lightning in a bottle.
I so wish I could erase my mind and rewatch this show. So wholesome and hilarious. I actually like it when someone hasn’t seen this show so I can quote it lol. Leslie Knope is the woman I always wanted to be. She’s the best.
what a once-in-a-life-time blessing that the two greatest scenes of this show (Ben's "Requim for a Tuesday" and "Get On Your Feet") are in the same episode. we don't deserve it
im so grateful for these videos . ty for still posting , this show is my all time favorite and has added so much joy to my life over the years. my comfort show 💖♾
Can anyone translate April at 2:05? I'm assuming its Spanish due to her Puerto Rico descent, but with Hollywood, who knows? Could be gibberish as far as I know. 😂
2:32 is genuinely one of the funniest scenes in TV history, just BRILLIANT execution - WHY THE F*CK WOULD Y'ALL CUT IT SHORT ???????????????????????????????? completely ruined the rhythm literally dislike just for that
I love P&R, but 7:47 is one of the worst, most unfunny, forced moments and "Taught in history books" can only come true if it's like a cautionary tale about writing
get on your feet will forever be a highlight of parks and rec
It’s the scene I wish I could forget when I go to bed, so I could watch it brand new the next day. It’s incredible!!
The claymation short always gets me
If you've ever tried animating in stop motion, his pain is PALPABLE

Stand in the place were you .....
I love when the lady first gets mad at Ron swiveling and then just decides to adapt and start jogging 😂
Not Ben saying " BABA BOEII" while he's drunk HAHAHHAHAHAHHA
My favorite episode
@ ron dancing with that little hat gotta be my favorite part
Bababooey*
0:48 I think Severance is going to end up revealing that it is just Ben Wyatt’s claymation project
lol
🤯

also had a class on the snake juice interviews for music and quick cuts

If you fail the text, believe me: straight to jail!
I read that a lot of it was improvised.

So I’ve never seen this show… are you saying it’s worth a watch?
@@sarahchristine2345Definitely
yeah i think abt this too lol so i need to give myself a few years in between to rewatch it so it semi fresh

The fact that Ron didnt panic when he heard he had 93 meetings is impressive.
“if I had to pick a dude” 😂😂
Chris looks so happy when Andy says that 😂
Chris is soooo happy 😂
I love the way Donna says “fine leather goods”
"Been there, done that" 😂😂👌
read this comment just as he said it, "currently doing that"
i love that leslie's codename is "id be lying if i said i hadnt thought about it"
@@avetrotter1356"If i had to pick a dude" 😂
Donna's reaction to her Mercedes getting shot will never not be funny 😆

Absolutely best comfort show.
the LE on the sign is just the icing on the cake 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I have watched this twice and rewatched clips countless times, I somehow never noticed Chris laying on the table from the Calzone food poisoning 😂
THEY ACTUALLY DID THEY CLAYMATION THOUGH 😭
I just realized on the ice rink that there was a basketball court with a ball. Did they think someone was going to dunk on the ice. Lol 😂
Yes. It literally happens later in that scene.
Pistol pete
I guess so, but also, fun fact, broomball is played with a ball on the ice.
A man slowly choking in the background of your marriage proposal has to be a sign 😂😂
I’m just now realizing the banner at the ice rink only says “LE” 😂
9:24 Don't be suspicious. At all.
9:45 Chris's death pose is so good here. Rob Lowe needs to get the Sean Bean treatment.
I’m off the clock, you don’t have to call me sir is all time writing
Andy is probably the funniest character I've ever seen
This made me realise I desperately need a Chris to my Ben
That snake juice has to be potent if Ron was drunk.
There needs to be a Severance / calzone crossover.
5:07 my favorite part is that she looks more like Hillary Clinton than when she was on SNL.
The part where they run out of carpet has long been my favorite haha
I just realised after watching the code name scene so many times, Tom doesn’t get a nickname!!
So as Leslie
6:39 I'm surprised Leslie *doesn't* watch Game of Thrones 😂
Rob Lowe is such a legend 🤘🏼
I hope they teach about Aubrey in history books!
Donna winks 😂
Don't be suspicious..!!! Don't be suspicious!!!
When they just kept playing the music at the hockey arena, it got funnier everytime. 😂
Cartwheels LOL
Its already in my school books frfr
MEET YOUR MEAT 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Now that I've read Jim O'Heir's book, so many of these scenes and episodes have so much more context behind them that it's even funnier.
It happened once in a dream
We’re gonna see this guy in Lumon’s severance floor in couple of hours
Can anyone translate April at 2:05? I'm assuming its Spanish due to her Puerto Rico descent, but with Hollywood, who knows? Could be gibberish as far as I know. 😂
It’s gibberish in spanish
I think she says something like “to the right of my house” at one point
4:10 I'll cough it out lol
1:18 made its rounds on old tumblr fandoms 💀
Do you know the exchange rate
Flu Season is my very favorite episode, I’ve seen it at least a dozen times and it can still make me cackle
Such an amazing cast, Adam Scott is my personal favorite
3:07 why not put the stage where the carpet ended?
Because it would ruin the joke
Parks and rec, Community, and Office (US). Do it.
Don’t be suspicious
Gonna cough it out. 😂
I have to remember not to eat when I'm watching these.

That ice scene. It is rasing the flag on Iwo Jima, all things considered
I came, I watched, I laughed so hard I sharted.
Ron, Dona's been awfully quiet...
Jerry:They're healthy
Ann: No they're not
Leslie: Of course they are, they have a picture of Lance Armstrong
That aged poorly
Coincidence that most of these were to do with Ben? I think not.
best moments
that's ridiculous lmfao ain't no way that took 3 weeks to shoot that'd take literally 15 minutes 🤷♂ that moment made no sense
