Jade, your pasta dish looks amazing ! One trick I know to do is save a cup of the water from your pasta pot, reserve it,and add it to your pan to “deglaze” the pan right when you add the spinach, then add your jar of Alfredo sauce , the pasta water has the starches or flavors from the pasta and adds a little to the sauce , also, what you do for Neens, Bailey, and animals later in life is so honorable, and kind, no need for explanation ❤Love you and your channel 😊

Tbh dollarama has some cute garlands and they usually come back yearly if you wanted to grab a few this year and the rest next year. I have some I put around my TV and some Lil battery powered pumpkin lights I added too (also dollarstore)

We have an elderly cat named Midnight who has heart disease, diabetes, and is starting to have random seizures so I totally appreciate and understand when people revolve their lives around their pets because we do the same. I always say I wish I could explain to our furballs that we’re not leaving for good, just going to work so we can afford treats lol. Speaking of treats, my favorite fall food is shepherds pie, but I’m vegan so I make mine with lentils. Mmm all about those mashed potatoes!

I make an amazing fall coconut curry soup. It has sweet potatoes, bell peppers and cauliflower. Just add coconut milk to your veggie broth, and then season with curry, a small amount of cinnamon, nutmeg, and tumeric. It's the perfect fall soup! You have to try it.

It makes me so happy to see how good you two are to Neens. My almost 13 year old yorkie-poo Gracie passed unexpectedly on Oct 2nd and I have had such a hard time with it. We always put aside noodles for her too when we made them. She loved slurping them up. ♥️

I waited until October 1st to decorate so that it would feel more special haha (I started getting excited for Halloween in like June so I wanted to save something for October). Enjoying my decorations with all the lights and everything turned on now with a cup of pumpkin apple tea 🫖 🎃

Thank you for bringing us these amazing vlogs. I'm both when it comes to wrapping gifts. I wrap them in wrapping paper for Christmas, but with people's birthdays, I put in bag with tissue paper.

One recipe that I like to make is a slightly different bruschetta chicken. My mom gave me this recipe
4 cups chicken rice
Sliced skinless chicken breasts
2 cloves minced garlic
1 can (14.5 oz) chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup shredded or chopped spinach
1 cup shredded mozzarella
2 tbsp chopped basil
olive oil
Make rice according to package. Cook chicken in oil with salt and pepper (I also use a small amount of red chili flakes). Add garlic and mix in cooked rice. Stir in tomatoes. Top with mozzarella and basil

I’m definitely a wrapper. I do the whole thing… special paper, fancy ribbon… it’s so calming to me. I love it. I love when people say the wrapping is so pretty they don’t want to open it 😂 it takes me hours to wrap my teen sons Christmas gifts… and he couldn’t care less about the wrap job 😂 I still go all out!

I know the best jar opening technique if it's stuck. While holding the jar securely in your hand, tap the edge of the lid on a hard surface edge, with not too much force. Wood and wood-like counters are perfect. It seems to displace just enough pressure and voila, it's open in one second. No assistance required. Happy October everyone! 🎃

oh one more thing the lentil and rice soup tastes amazing with some red pepper flakes added to taste like you did for your sauce. I sometimes add them and sometimes not just depends on my mood!

When we got out for a wee while and have to leave our dogs we put TV, radio on for background noise, warm and cosy quiet space, a large soft toy to snuggle with, a lamp on, we have homeopathic doggy drops Drama Queen seperation anxiety and stress and Fearless if they get really bad eg Thunderstorms, Fireworks etc
You know Neems and as you say she is an elder Queen🐾🖤, with heart challenges so understand keeping her from being upset, calm, comfy and cosy🤗
My niece is also an October libra and I hope to see her and get her something too :) she likes the witchy stuff too
I can giftwrap but I like to suit the wrapping to the gift. If there’s a convenient box it makes sense to wrap it but I like a collection of little things sometimes which work well in a bag. If I do bag it, I use a few colors of tissue paper (holographic if possible) and make a bow from some lengths of curling ribbon because it’s stupid fast and easy and very showy for little effort. I also have found it fun to try Japanese giftwrapping and I recommend looking a video up. Very economic on sticky tape.
And I seem to have more recipes for Fall sweets than dinners. We tend to forage for ourselves and my kitchen is tiny and hot all year. No air circulation. But I do like cranberry orange pumpkin muffins and chocolate dipped caramel apples. Oh, we do have red beans and rice in cool weather, though. You don’t have to stay in the kitchen for most of the cook time.
Hey ghoul! I love your fireplace! My eye specialist put my surgery into November instead of sooner. Working on fixing some issues with medication beforehand. My eyes feel so much better than they did. So, I’m good on that. Your niece is six already for her birthday? Time is so fast! I have the soft stuffed thin version Sally with the wire in. I gave my first one last year to my neighbors little girl and she sleeps with her every night. I found a another one at Walgreens. The little tops and leggings are so cute! Thanks for showing the gifts. You have them ready to go! All ready with fun gift bags! The spooky kitchen decor looks great too. If you want to open a jar a little easier lightly tap on the jar rim on top all the way around evenly with a metal kitchen knife handle. The dinner noodles looked very good! The kids Halloween clothes at Target are always so cute! I'm a women's M and can fit into a boys L-XL, so I always buy kids clothes for myself. They have a sweatshirt that's the same checker pattern but in white and black though. I bought it in an XL today. So cute 🖤🤍🧡
