To me those things are just another point of failure. I've got a Kenmore side by side refer, freezer. It' about 25/26 years old. The only thing "modern" it does is make ice. No computer chips. The mechanical timer mech. for the defrost went bad and was replaced. Appx 17 years after I moved in. It just works. To find out what I need I open the door, look in & jot things on piece of paper. That paper requires 0 power, no battery, like a smart phone does. While shopping I scratch things off as I fill the cart. With a pen, that uses no power. Now that I think about it I don't how I get by. Must be caveman DNA. ;0)
@@rj-zz8im Agree. Cars are the same way now. Gotta be a PhD to work them. When I was in high school, 70s, we rebuilt engines in our garages and they worked. ;0)
You think that's huge, you missed out on the next huge section. The garden section. There is a lot of rocks for setting up gardens; items for planters; seeds of flowers and vegetable gardens; fire pits and furniture for the yard; and (my most favorite) the soil needed for the different types of plants.
Don't remind me. I have an elderly mom who loves her plants. Every year she tells me to plant something new. I spent $200 on just rose bushes this year alone. Not counting all the mulch, soil, Miracle Grow, borders, scrubs, pots, annual flowers, etc.
Their video didn't even show you a fraction of what Home Depot is like. Home Depot, Lowes and Tractor Supply are my favorite places, I will stop and just walk through just for fun.
Home Depot is way too convenient for me. It's less than 3 miles from me. Lowes is 5 miles and 9 miles two locations. TS Co, never been there, but it's about 3 miles from me too. Walmart, 6 miles. Harbor Freight, 12 miles. Benefits of living in the smallest state, everything is close by. I've spent 10s of thousands at Home Depot since I bought my home almost 3 years ago. Next project is to repaint the interior.
Toy stores for the working man :) Though Lowes service in my area are atrocious and their warehouse layout is all over the place compared to more intuitive Home Depot and Tractor Supply.
They didn’t even show the tools 🛠️ Hint for when you buy lumber for 2x4 never buy pine that will always be twisted here in the North East it’s considered cut from trash trees. Look for a hard wood it will cost more but if it’s going to be a finished piece you will be better off.
That's just a section of Home Depot. You have much much more stuff. Gardening, building supplies, wood, furniture, home decor, paint and tools. If you're building something or renovating, Home Depot is your place. Also, they have a huge selection of garden flowers, plants, soil, rocks for decorating, and much more to make your garden look better. I think you're talking about Superstore Jono, that show was fantastic, really funny. Like always, great vid guys 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Home Depot is less about home decor than it is about appliances, lamps/lights, building supplies, hardware, tools, gardening, cleaning supplies, paints, etc. to build and/or maintain your home/shed. Sorry Lea...wrong store for you, lol. Lowe's is the other major home improvement store in the US and both ship internationally so...there's that to consider :).
James and Millie only went into a very small part of Home Depot. The main reason they went there was that Millie wanted to look at "American" refrigerators. Home Depot is SO MUCH MORE than just appliances.
Home Depot has lots of lumber plumbing roofing cement. A huge gardening center with hundreds of plants, gas mowers electric mowers, string trimmers. On and on they also rent all kinds of construction equipment.
Buying in bulk can be more cost effective and time efficient. Imagine shopping in one day, everything you’d need for a month at the minimum. It’s especially convenient for preparing for bad weather.
Home Depot and Lowes are building supply stores. They also sell lumber, doors, windows, shelves anything for buillding and maintaining your home, including lawn mowers.
Jono is thinking of Shark Tank, which is the US equivalent of the Dragon's Den. Scrub Daddy is still the #1 selling product to ever come out of Shark Tank, I believe.
That was just a tiny part of Home Depot. They omitted lumber, paint and wallpaper, plumbing supplies, electrical supplies, tools, lawn mowers, gardening, and much more that I’m probably forgetting. As for total inventory value, my best estimate is around 115 million dollars.
They didn’t show you even a quarter of the fabulousness of Home Depot. Such a shame. It’s a fantastic store. They have a fantastic garden shop too. Also everything you would need to build a house! Lol
Jono would fall madly in love with Home Depot. I don’t know if Kat does any gardening but if she does, she would fall in love with the garden section. That’s where I spend most of my time. I have a patio garden and I have a whole lot of trees that I got from Home Depot.
Lea commented she is interested in pillows and such, she would probably like to go to a "Home Goods" type of store, that is more decor style, "Home Depot" is more building materials and the such. Or she could come to Walmart, Target, etc. where there is home furnishings also, something like those stores. 😊💜
In many American households, the fridge door is the de facto family bulletin board. The fridges with digital screens are a way of consolidating and organizing calendars, shopping lists, chore to-do lists, recipes, etc.
Lil, you are a beautiful intelligent young lady. Always have the attitude that you are who you are and if someone likes you then they have a friend. If they don’t then oh well, don’t care. When someone doesn’t like you it is their issues driving their feelings and usually has nothing to do with you. If you truly adopt this attitude, you will emote a sense of self confidence that actually draws people to you.
The appliances out on the floor are the demos for people to see and touch, when you choose one, they're bring a boxed one out to your truck, or deliver and install for you.
You would have like the Lumber section!! It is rows and rows and rows of lumber! All you have to do as well as pick out the lumber you want, give the store employee the dimensions that you want the wood cut, and they will cut it right there for you in the store for FREE! There is also an entire "Rental" section where you can rent any type of tool/machine for 1 to 2 days as needed. Need a chainsaw for a few hours to cut away a fallen branch? You can rent one for $20 for 4 hours. That type of rental is helpful to the common consumer that just needs certain equipment for a "day job." I've rented lawn diggers & lawn aerators to plant new grass. No need to buy either equipment for $500 for a one or two time use to replant a whole lawn when I can rent the machines for $100 for 1-2 days.
The idea behind having the video display on the front of the fridge is that you can "see" what is inside, so you can KNOW that the left-over tuna fish is on the second shelf on the right, and when you open the door to get it out, you know right where to reach, grab it, and shut the door. That minimizes the amount of time that you have the door open, so it keeps the fridge cooler, so it minimizes the energy required to keep it at a particular temp. It's an energy conservation feature. . . better for the planet etc. Whether it REALLY makes a difference in energy conservation. . . who knows! But it's a great marketing talking point!
Home Depot has way more than what they showed. Tiles, wood, carpet, lights, mower, garden stuff, etc.. It would have been nice if they wandered around more than just the appliance section.
Home Depot and Lowes are very big. With the frigs, they didn't show in the freezer there was a drawer that wasn't pulled out. We refer to our appliances by the manufacturer's name. They didn't touch the area with all the lumber, sheetrock, plywood, siding, molding and all the tools. You can build an entire house and furnish it.
The screen on your fridge also links to your wi-fi, so you can order food at your fridge. It will sync to your phone, it also syncs to our security system, if someone comes to the door our doorbell camera shows us who it is on our fridge. There are so many apps for the screen that it can be set up to your liking. Cookbooks can be downloaded and if you want you can watch people preparing a recipe and you follow along.
Home Depot uses the same store model as Sam's club. They sell all their products cheaper than others ( wirh a profit ytd 50.96 billon) and only making money on the membership fee.
They have fridges with Wi Fi, it scans the products you put inside and lets you know when it expires or when you need to order more, it will contact the store and order your groceries for you.
We do have two door smaller above the larger frigs. the smaller top door is the freezer compartment while th lower larger door is the main frig compartment. We also have as the misses deccribed side by side with the left door the freezer and the right door the frig compartment. Those they were looking at both doors are frig compart with the lower pull out drawer the freezer compartment. They are known here as French door frigs.
You can get refrigerators in America for less than $1000. it’s a basic one usually with the freezer on top and the refrigerator the bottom, no vertically split doors and no icemaker on the door. You could have a icemaker in the freezer.
There are some high-tech "video screen" fridges over here in America! The one that James was looking at, probably has the feature, where there is a video camera on the inside. The camera (With the touch of a button on the outside of the door), will let you see what's inside, without having to open the door and let all the cold air out. No wasted energy there!
Builders and contractors get Home Depot accounts and discounts for theoretically buying at scale. But it's open to the public, too, so you can get just about any fittings, fixtures, repair items, building supplies, yard and garden, or appliances. Their dimensional lumber is notoriously twisty or knotty. But I've never had trouble with their plank lumber, plywood, or OSB, but their wood prices sometimes seem higher than others.
This is an every day store for everyday people. Where they can do projects and gardening and stuff at home. But also you have to consider there’s a lot of contractors and construction businesses and things that buy in bulk from places like Home Depot and Lowes as well. So it makes sense for them to hold a lot of stock.

Every fridge in USA has lights inside that turn on as u open the door and yes I got ice and water trough the freezer door
The tablet on the fridge can display pics from your phone, listen to music, mirror your tv, show what’s inside your fridge with out opening the door, also write expiration dates on the tablet while showing what’s in the fridge and much more it is quite useful
12:13 it’s basically a tablet. So you can have you schedule or use it to write down shopping list as you run out. Some are even smart enough to know when to order certain things for you when you run out.
The part Millie was looking for in the fridges were in almosyt every fridge she openened but she didnt look up underneath. They a had pullout trays 1 side has an ice tray. We have one at my house. The pullout thing is hidden
With the screen on the fridge, you can create a grocery list and sync the list to your phone. You can also display recipes, calendars (day/week/month/year), and photos. Think of it as a regular steel fridge, but without all the magnets holding all the photos, and recipes to it. My friend even has hers set to display on the calendar when items will go bad. If they have them where you live the Shark vacuums are really good home vacuum cleaners.
Some of the Refrigerators have a computer screen that you can connect to the WiFi. It keeps track of what you put in and what you take out. Then it automatically reorders items when they run out. Other features allow you to use the screen to see what's inside the refrigerator, with a camera pointed inside. Then you can choose what you want before you open it, so you don't stand there allowing all the cold air to escape. The US is a consumer country, and buyers in the US love convenience. So, manufacturers add any goofy features that they think of to try to attract buyers. Some of them are good, others are just gaudy and overkill. But nothing's off the table.
There are 2300 of these stores across the U.S.A. there are 3 within a half hour of where I live. We shop there often, but I prefer Lowes they are similar but I find Lowes easier to shop in. There are 1700 Lowes in the U.S. and 2 are within 30 minutes of our home. You would absolutely love the wood selection in these stores.
People were bullying your daughter online that’s crazy Lil you’re a beautiful person. Don’t let anybody ever pick on you and Jon. Oh, I’m glad you stood up for your daughter shut down that channel. No parent should let their kid get picked on I guess I mean I don’t even know what I don’t even know why people try and pick on such a nice person. Such nice people I don’t even know why somebody would do that.
You never use wood for aquarium stands. The standard in America is automatically steel or aluminum. You use wood facades if you are planning to add cabinets underneath but that’s it. Sometime titanium but an alloy.
Not every Home depot is that size but my store has about a million sku# in store, and the number 1 thing that Home depot sells in every store is the Homer Bucket!
You guys need to find a video about a store called At Home (Store). You guys were talking about a Home Decor store and At Home is a store of this size but with only Home Decor stuff.
I'm American, I feel like they go over board when making some of those appliances. Especially that particular refidgerator . Most have an ice maker, but my personal preference is to have ice trays.
I made noise about your reaction videos having low sound, so I feel it's incumbent on me to acknowledge when the problem is fixed. Thank you, I'm glad we're back to normal.
Smart fridges have screens in them to replace other stuff that you would normally put on the fridge and other things to make your life "easier". This includes a calendar, notes, kids drawings, kids colored papers, and it shows you how full or empty the fridge is without opening the door. It also texts you what you need to buy when you go to the store and if you left the fridge door open. Don't be afraid to film everything anywhere you go in America. Some places, like theme parks and concerts, won't let you bring in a big camera or GoPro, though. Theme parks don't want you to film on fast moving rides because a phone hitting you in the face at 60MPH can give you a broken nose. You can't film concerts because of copyright laws. This is why some places, where you are allowed to film, you will have to film with your phone.
My fridge knows when it’s time to reorder items & automatically sends it to Amazon. And a screen on front shows me what’s inside without opening the door. It also talks to me.
If I'm not mistaken, some new fridges have a camera inside so if you are at the store, and not sure if you have something or not, you can get a view of what you have in your fridge. I don't know how expansive it is or if you can see every area. But it seems like I've heard people talk about that feature.
Some of the things you can do with some of the refrigerator tv screen monitors is make a grocery list, list of what’s still in the fridge so you can check what you may need while you’re grocery shopping, watching a recipe video while you’re cooking, I’ve been told you can answer your phone and zoom calls.
There's a Home Depot 3 miles from my house. I don't even need to jump on the highway. I spent thousands there. I'm there once a week during the spring time. Mulch, soil, tools, paint, lumber, lawn chemicals, etc. Remodeled the basement and that was an expensive job.
Scrub Daddy became popular on Shark Tank. Yes, the upper shelves are overstock of the things below. There is also an exterior garden center on the side of the building that they didn't show which is about 1/3 of the size of the store where they have all of the plants, mulches, seeds, etc. plus all of the exterior yard things like landscape borders, patio pavers, fencing, etc. We also have a store called Lowes that is just like Home Depot. They are just as huge. I hate having to go to either of them for something because inevitably the thing I need is always in the far rear corner and you almost need your hiking gear and plenty of water to stay hydrated on that long trek to the back of the store. These stores are getting so big that they're going to need to put trains in them soon, because they'll be too big to walk.
My sister paid $5000 for her fridge. The lighting was actually very soft and pretty, like a nice restaurant, but for that money it should have classical music playing softly in the background when you open the door.
No it's so you can order food in real time keep track of your schedule and you can actually take pictures of what's in your fridge what you used what you didn't use keep track of expiration dates organizer and schedule it's basically an iPad built directly into the fridge

I bought a side by side fridge for 1100 dollars it was a great deal
They only toured about 3% of the place. There is so much more available even beyond what you see on the shelves. I live here and I quite often ask for help. Fair warning some well run stores have excellent customer service and experts in various things. Plumbers, electricians, carpenters, decorators, and many more trades are usually available to give advice. Kitchen design specialist for example can prevent costly mistakes when doing a DIY kitchen remodel. Most of simple consults are free. Some stores have atrocious service and you can't find anyone qualified to help. So you hope for the best. If it was my first time and I had a social media platform, I would call ahead and ask management for a guided tour. Its just too big to walk blindly. This way you see best possible experience. Even though it would be a bit artificial. Cheers... I am of course speaking generally about big box home stores not Home Depot, Lowes, or others specifically.
My local Home Depot knows me by name, most of the folks at contractor desk knows my phone number, couple know how to sign my name. I have even been asked to help customers before.
The screen on the fridge can display lists of things you need, recipes, cooking videos etc...daily weather, news...

I love the fresh smell of a Home Depot lumber yard in the morning!!!👌
I love lamps all both my houses have nothing but lamps. And over headlighting for emergencies. Lamps just make it much more. Cozy. William s
Employee of the month was the movie with the fort in it .
Refrigerator monitors are good for cooking shows while you follow along
If you ever come to the states, you will need to go to one of these stores too.
Nope
The screen in the fridge can show you recipes and cooking videos
Just an FYI the "Bottom Drawer" as you call it is actually the freezer.
You never use wood for aquarium stands. The standard in America is automatically steel or aluminum. You use wood facades if you are planning to add cabinets underneath but that’s it. Sometime titanium but an alloy.
Yes, there's a small Traeger pellet smoker, but they only look at it for a few seconds.
Yes Kat! That’s just the stock up high. Some things you have to ask for. But most is stock.
Not every Home depot is that size but my store has about a million sku# in store, and the number 1 thing that Home depot sells in every store is the Homer Bucket!
You can put your shopping list on the fridge and bring it up on your phone instead of leaving it at home
You guys need to find a video about a store called At Home (Store). You guys were talking about a Home Decor store and At Home is a store of this size but with only Home Decor stuff.
They didn’t even show you the lumber/building department, tools or the garden department.
A lot of the stuff probably can be shipped back to your place.😊😊😊
Home Depot and Lowe’s will assemble and deliver your grill for you! Not sure they’re delivering to Slovakia at the moment however!
YAY WHOO HOO 🎉 UA-cam is doing right again. I am getting y'all's notifications again !!!! Hope y'all r doing well. Ok let's get into this video 😉
My fridge knows when it’s time to reorder items & automatically sends it to Amazon. And a screen on front shows me what’s inside without opening the door. It also talks to me.
Rancho Cucamonga shirt 👍😎
If I'm not mistaken, some new fridges have a camera inside so if you are at the store, and not sure if you have something or not, you can get a view of what you have in your fridge. I don't know how expansive it is or if you can see every area. But it seems like I've heard people talk about that feature.
More of the out snd about like when you went to the lake or around town would be nice.
I think your movie is Employee of the Month. They have a fort or hideout up top
Some of the things you can do with some of the refrigerator tv screen monitors is make a grocery list, list of what’s still in the fridge so you can check what you may need while you’re grocery shopping, watching a recipe video while you’re cooking, I’ve been told you can answer your phone and zoom calls.
I watched it and it was beautiful to see a Family out and about ❤❤
There's a Home Depot 3 miles from my house.
They didn't see a quarter of the store... the lumber, hardware and building material (doors/windows/HVAC/plumbing) departments are massive.
You guys should react to how different the schools are here in the US, compared to there.
Would love to see you guys do a comparison vid that be cool
My sister paid $5000 for her fridge. The lighting was actually very soft and pretty, like a nice restaurant, but for that money it should have classical music playing softly in the background when you open the door.
You did do "Ragged Old Flagg" it was my suggestion, that is why I know. ;P
I would love to see how your hardware and home goods stores are! But don't hassle yourselves if they give you trouble for filming 😊
Nice microphone! Is that a new one? It is nice to be able to hear each of you perfectly with that.
It'll be nice for you guys to do a music reaction to certain fans favorite music like country rock and classical music
Eureka means I have found it and it is the state motto of California and it is a brand of vacuum cleaner which Europeans call hoovers.
You can also pull up recipes
RecTech smoker is what i have. Very nice smoker
Home Depot and Lowe's is like a toy store for adults😂😂
Lumber is hi in USA and you may to search strea
We have a Treager Pellet Smoker. I love it. Smoke flavor from the pellets but no fussing keeping it at temperature.
You know there are screens inside bathroom mirrors, too? They’re not right in the middle, but off to the side so you can still use the mirror.
Samsung frig have that screen and yes you can do a planner, shopping list and sync it to your Samsung phone
Yeah you did do the Johnny Cash flag video with Kat.
