- Watch these highlights as the 2nd-seeded LSU Tigers took down the 3rd-seeded Ole Miss Rebels, 75-67, to advance to the SEC Women's Basketball Tournament Finals vs. 1st-seeded South Carolina Gamecocks. LSU junior Last-Tear Poa went down with an apparent head injury and was taken off the court on a stretcher in the 4th quarter. Angel Reese led the Tigers to the win with 21 PTS and 17 REB.

I agree, my daughter said the same thing, she went too LSU for kinesiology, and she said the medical staff should have been the first ones on the floor, she said they were not supposed to pick up Poa like that, i pray that poa is ok 💛💜🙏🙏

Hoping Poa is okay. Her head hit that floor pretty hard. Her teammates were obviously upset so I hope they're okay too. I'm surprised that medical personnel didn't intervene more quickly. Those managers or trainers (or whoever they were) shouldn't have been trying to walk her off the court at that point.

UPDATE!!!! Poa suffered a concussion, but has movement and feeling throughout her body. She is expected to be released from the hospital tonight
LSU can’t catch a break with all the injuries and still finding ways to be a top team incredible but def feel bad for them going into the ncaa tournament. I wonder if mikayla will play today?
Never under any circumstances should you or someone else try to get up and walk after sustaining a head injury of that magnitude.
