Wow what a gorgeous location! Have fun. Thank for your comments about fatigue. I am experiencing the same frustration, enthusiastic to do things, but tiring sooner than I'd like.
I recently learned when it comes to trying something new to stop worrying about what could go wrong and look forward to what could go right! Thank you for posting an update. I’ve always wanted to visit the Alps, it looks amazing!
How lovely to see you skeeing. I have just completed my second chemo. 4 more months of chemo left. Skeeing all day is hard for a completely fit person. You are doing great and your hair is so cute now.
Aw thank you! My hair is coming back really well now! Its just about long enough to get in my eyes all the time now! :D well done you, I hope chemo is being kind! You've got this!
Hello Louisa, It is amazing how you always talk about something just when I'm dealing with the same issues. I'm at my one year anniversary of diagnosis. I find it a real balancing act between getting moving again but also still letting myself heal. I sometimes feel 'all better'. Then I have a week of real fatigue. Chemo is poison and I'm thinking that it takes awhile to completely recoup from its effects. I suspect Tamoxifen also plays a part in the whole thing too. Side note: have you seen this new study out of Italy saying smaller doses of Tamoxifen work? I haven't reduced my dose until I get a response from my oncologist but I'm strongly considering it. I'm currently on 20mg. They are saying 5 mg is sufficient!
Im feeling so tired this week, like you I have ups and downs! I really must remember to try and take that time to heal. even when you are resting your body is busy healing so take the time to do it! :) Wow 5mg could be enough? Thats a big reduction! Im on Examestane and not Tamoxifen for some reason. Everyone is always so different!
Lovely to see you having fun x
