In my opinion if you’re a right handed player and pass a ball to the left side deep, I think it would be a better play to set the ball high to the middle of the court, and then have the hitter back up run closer to the setter in hopes of limiting balls traveling over your right shoulder. Would love to hear your thoughts on that.
Wouldn't the ball be over your head the whole time making it harder to track
I wish more players knew this.
Let's say a right handed player digs the ball on top of him. If the dig is high enough what are your thoughts on crossing over towards the left side of the court and then asking for a middle set? Allowing the hitter tho have the ball already on the right shoulder. What are your thoughts ?
So when we dig do we hit the vball with the the bony part of the forearm with our elbows pointing sideways or do we try and make the vball hit the flat part of the forearm with our elbows pointing straight down?
