      the coil isn't mandatory, you can use a normal wire for antenna

    Nice project bro.
    I having doubt . How to change the frequency of this FM transmitter?
    Or it fixed on only one frequency because of normal FM transmitter there is LC tank oscillator and used trimmer capacitor for set Frequency.

    Nice build.way back in 2013 I did it but mine was a single transistor FM transmitter and that is highly unstable. I still have that circuit board.✌👍

    Saludos desde México. ¿Donde puedo conseguir estos circuitos o algo similar? Es que por mas que los busco no los encuentro ni en la tienda local los tienen. Y otra pregunta: ¿puedo usar este circuito como oscilador para medir capacitancias de entre 0 y 100 pF? ¿es posible usar la señal de salida no como señal al aire sino como voltaje medible mediante un filtro RC o LC?

    Nice but beware that circuit might be illegal in some countries because of the wide spectrum of high, unfiltered harmonics! There *should* be a HF filter to constrain the output bandwidth to the carrier band, therefore [at least] one coil is an absolute necessity.

    I am wondering why you say Pf when the standard notation of caps. is different? like an example: 104 is short hand for .1 microfarad. right? And in the CELL PHONE JAMMER video the output of a 555 is negative going; so the V out cap was labeled backwards... I been a hobbyist for 40 years. So I am confused at this time and ask clarification?

    Muy curioso el diseño y el sistema de oscilación,me imagino es a corta distancia..pero suena super y hay que tener en cuenta el integrado que sea de alta velocidad o sino pailas..no funciona..

    nice, but I'm afraid you'll have much frequency-drift, high energy-consumption (in this setting you'll not transmit a long time with battery - so, at least you should remove the LED (what for, btw))and I'd also replace C2 with an adjustable C / Trimmer to influence f. Did you check the transmitted frequency - what is it? If f is not in the common range (for Europe lets say 87 - 108MHz) you will always need an unique receiver to get it and you won't be able to receive it with common radios. .What about the range (distance) - I'm afraid it's just working for a very little distance, isn't it? Anyway, I love the way and the accuracy you're doing an presenting your circuits - good job :)

      ja, mit der Stromquelle fängt's natürlich gleich an - das hält nicht lange. Dann kommt noch die garantiert begrenzte Reichweite hinzu und von der Temperatur-Drift gleich ganz zu schweigen (die f wandert da rauf u. runter, dürfte sich aber nach einer gewissen Zeit stabilisieren). Zum Basteln und Experimentieren an verregneten Nachmittagen jedoch bestimmt bestens geeignet :) LG

    capacitor marked with 104 is not for 104 pf, it's really for 100,000 pf

    You should test the distance and the stability, you put transmitter and receiver side by side, we can't see any of its performances, and there is a coil... so it has a coil

      the capacitor marked 104 is 100nF (0.1µF) also the one marked 103 is 10nF (0.01µF)

    Te quiero sugerir un proyecto, ya que tenés la capacidad en todo de realizarlo y no lo he visto en youtube. Yo se que se fabrica tanto receptor fm como emisor fm, y son pequeños los que vi en youtube. Hay posibilidad de que hagas un Walky? Por ejemplo: Walky A, emite en 90.0 y recibe en 100.0 y; Walky B, recibe en 90.0 y emite en 100.0 - Sería un proyecto genial. Gracias

      No.
      It is very primitive transmitter, working in auto-generation mode, without frequency stabilisation and without output amplifier.
      If you will connect big antenna - unknown effect.)))

    I successfully build this tiny transmitter, but it's noisy when I use 5v Phone adaptor to supply this circuit...
    This device uses Harmonic frequency, so I can hear the transmit signal in freq. 64MHz receiver too

    Hola Como estas espero que muy bien me gusto mucho tu video y como realizaste el transmisor FM, me gustaría saber si en vez de una batería de 9v colocarle una cargador de 9v y hasta que distancia puede llegar a emitir?
