I spend more than 30 years for find the truth, what was really happened at the end of WW2 and aftermath of that event. How I was going deeper AND DEEPER to this theme, I was found more less logic stuffs and facts. Mostly told to us from winners of WW2. Than I made my first and the most important rule - never believe winners of WW2 and especially when they talk about "the truth". My second rule is check everything and try find the proves AND LOGIC CONNECTIONS ABOUT THAT EVENTS AND STORIES. That last my rule is the hardest to realize. Because, the proves are today hidden or even destroyed by the winners, covered with many newer fabricated lies of the winner side, AFTER 1945. So, my conclusion is about this story - do not believe in that. Why? Because, it is no rock solid evidences about that, like about Hitler & Eva death in Berlin, April 30, 1945. So, then what is really logic truth about that? If you ask me, everything is opposite what winners of WW2 said to us last 79 years. Hitler & Eva were escaped from Berlin, like Martin Bormann too and many important Nazis. They found cover in Argentina and they trade with the USA and UK about long peace and rest there. The value for buying that was probably 3 German most important programs: Rocket, Space and Nuclear programs. That was all given to winners, because the Secret of Berlin, 1945, must be hidden for next 100 years or to 2045. That is my opinion about that video and of course I don't believe that your story is based on the real facts. PS: The Real Truth, we probably would know one day or our kids in the future, and many many centuries after the Fall of the Third Reich. And, of course after the final fall of the Winners of the WW2 too. Be saluted!
I've seen a lot of documentaries on WW 2 history, and this is one of the best I've ever seen. Showing the actual locations on the map helped me to understand much clearer what happened.
As someone who is constantly stopping to look up maps and battle lines while reading books, the use of the maps and aerial photography in these videos is absolutely fascinating. Good stuff.
I totally agree. I am always wanting to see a map (of some reliable sort) which shows the location and movements of parties involved during any historical discussion as a map reading helps with context, (for me at any rate.)
This story would make a great movie. Sort of like part 2 of Downfall. How they left the bunker but with more detail on each of them as they scrambled through Berlin.
Not sure why, but I can be very demanding regarding script and production standards and so I am pleased to say that this program is outstanding. The narrative pacing is perfect and you only change images when necessary. That alone merits high marks as so many content creators change image every 3 seconds...20 bloody times a minute. Keep up the great work!!!
Yeah like "dark seas, skies etc flashing 30 images a minute most of them not even related to the story. Like documentaries on iwo gima showing ships bombarding normandy😂

Eh, if you are truly interested in the subject there are more videos that go deeper on the subject of Bormans death as it is far from conclusive on how and where he actually died, this video is purely based off the testimonial of Auxman which is shakey at best, that's with out even getting into the discrepancy with Bormans skull and "remains".
The amount of research and attention to detail in this documentary is stunning. It’s incredible how you used the historical footage overlaid with modern images. I echo the sentiments of another commenter that this is one of the best documentaries I’ve seen.

I thought the same. How cool would it have been to sit down with Axman in his older years to hear his stories. His escape to American lines is amazing. He’d be the main character played by Ben afleck.
Most of it happens at night, you could do a really intense escape movie with a faceless enemy with just a single person making it through and then let the audience know they were rooting for Nazis the entire time

But these images and the route make it such much easier to understand. Fun fact: I used to do sportclasses in the Voßstraße, right were the chancellery was and took the metro right where they flew. I just did my study abroad trip from the United States to study the memories and memorials of the second world war, and the holocaust. It’s very surreal to see an eagle eyed view of places that you traveled to like through those very same train stations. The original districts within the city compared to the modern that I saw was interesting too.
Same, I wasn’t even in Berlin for the Third Reich, I was doing a study in the GDR, but still surreal seeing locations you know like the Gestapo HQ and Air Ministry.
It's great seeing people still making videos like this and even more in depth different/untold stories to ensure future generations don't forget. It's mad to think what would of been going on in that city during the time. You couldn't just get in an armoured car then a super fast jet and disappear must of been a mental time. The panick and fear there must of been to try and escape and the fear of civilians too. If they all got away never know who else could of. I love how you show it now aswell just imagining being there and the fighting going on the whole city basically rubble. It's just nuts when you see the aerial view and how far the allies had to surround and capture every street . Then after rebuild all of it and make sure these huge areas wouldn't do it again.
This is SO GOOD..when I listen to diaries of soldiers..I imagine that grey apocalyptic scenes but never, where, how the units were positioned, how 4km from bunker was in real life when defended...I literally needed this to imagine these diaries, stories of soldiers👏

This was extremely well produced and covered the escape from the bunker brilliantly. Bormann's high school education was stopped when he joined the 55th Field Artillery Regiment as a gunner in June 1918, in the final months of World War I. He never saw action, but served garrison duty until 1919, and then joined the Nazi Party. Bormann did have an advantage while escaping over the other top Nazi's because he had no public image, unlike Goebbels, Himmler, Hitler, Goering, Ribbentrop, Jodl, Rommel etc,
While in the U. S. Army in the fall of 1973 I visited West Berlin. I took a bus tour were I saw all the locations in your great video. The tour guide also snowed us a sewer were a skelton with a cyanide burn on its jaw bone was found. Who was he?
Absolutely fascinating. Took me over an hour to watch as I kept stopping to look on Google maps at what the locations look like today. Will be watching all your other stuff. Thanks for your excellent research and compelling video

@@BattleGuideVT Absolutely. Love the way you produce and create videos, especially the overlays of then and now. Also you do not over dramatise or exaggerate. Seen Bormann stories before after his remains were found. They claimed had been relocated and it was all a setup. So well done 👍 to you for the balanced analysis.
I am sure that there are many other human remains in the Berlin earth, waiting to be discovered. At the end of the war, the dead were randomly buried in shell craters and suchlike
SPR was a little to Hollywood, a bigger version of the TV series “Combat.” Would they have really let the German prisoner walk away? (After he killed the medic?) Never.

Thanks for a great documentary with plenty of resource material to read. As I remember about as many people saw Hitler after the war as people who say they saw Elvis long after his death.
@@BattleGuideVT Just curious, how can you disagree with his conclusions when he simply concluded that there are no conclusions and we will most likely never know exactly how Borman died.

Omg, i genuinely think this video came like 3 years ago it's very high quality!
Excellent video !
Thank you very much!
What an excellent video, great work, well done!
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@BattleGuideVT Absolutely. Love the way you produce and create videos, especially the overlays of then and now. Also you do not over dramatise or exaggerate. Seen Bormann stories before after his remains were found. They claimed had been relocated and it was all a setup. So well done 👍 to you for the balanced analysis.
excellant stuff, glad i found this channel recently 👍
I am sure that there are many other human remains in the Berlin earth, waiting to be discovered. At the end of the war, the dead were randomly buried in shell craters and suchlike
It's a somber thought, but history often hides its secrets beneath the surface. Excavations can reveal so much about our past.
@@BattleGuideVTbut only so much as well. Bodies from WW2 are almost entirely gone by now
@@TheUA-camUser69 I disagree... many bodies from WW1 are still being discovered, identified and given proper burials.
It must have taken you significantly longer to research and produce this video than the 24 minutes we watched.
Just a bit! Hope you enjoyed it! :)
Perfect @@BattleGuideVT
This was an amazing documentary, very well done!
Fascinating video. I got to visit all those areas last year but I didn't find any bodies
Absolutely brilliant, thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Outstanding !!!
Thank you!
I still think Downfall (Der Untergang) is one the best WW2 movies ever made. Up there with Saving Private Ryan and Das Boot.
SPR was a little to Hollywood, a bigger version of the TV series “Combat.” Would they have really let the German prisoner walk away? (After he killed the medic?) Never.
SPR was just Hollywood. Probably not in top 10 I think.
@@rocknral
"Come and See" was just Mosfilm Cinema. Not top 10 I think.
Schindler' list ??? Or Schindler's story is too much for the Nazi sympathetics' guilty feelings ??
Subscribed. What a fantastic video. Thank you.
Awesome, thank you!
fantastic video. amazing ref and historic/modern associations.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Incredible analysis, juxtaposition, transitions, overlays, et al.
Thanks Craig!
This is the way we study history! Thank you!
Bro carries out some serious amount of research and hardwork in these documentaries...Thank you so much ...keep up the good work...love from Pakistan 🇵🇰❤️
Very well done. Thank you. 👍
Excellent video on a subject rarely discussed.
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for a great documentary with plenty of resource material to read. As I remember about as many people saw Hitler after the war as people who say they saw Elvis long after his death.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm thrilled to hear that you found the resource material useful.
Excellent ww2 televisual feast....well done
Borman in London? That is the basis of a Monty Python joke.
Brilliant video. Mark Felton has explored this topic in depth and also worth checking out his videos.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! Can't say I agreed with his conclusions I have to say, but an interesting subject
Yes, I enjoyed the series he did. I guess it's easy to come to different conclusions from the chaos of the death of Nazi Germany.
@@BattleGuideVT Just curious, how can you disagree with his conclusions when he simply concluded that there are no conclusions and we will most likely never know exactly how Borman died.
The Paraguayan government said Borman was there...why would they lie? What motive? What gain? None that I can see so I believe Borman was there..period!.😮@@BattleGuideVT
@@jamfd3s788 To me Felton bought into the conspiracy theory a bit too much.
Tremendous work I imagine. Real good job! The video and map geo locations MAKE IT! thank you so much.
This is amazing storytelling
This is the best account of the escape on UA-cam better than Mark Felton better researched well done 👍
One of the best documentary about Martin Bormanns death and the escaped Nazis and I saw many of it, very detailed and informative.
Very good job sir
Another banging UA-cam video
