People on here need to realize that gay people don't choose to be gay. They were born with it, they cannot help being attracted to the same sex. It is unfair to deny someone's right to marriage just because of their sexual orientation, they do not have control over that. So now they are being denied their rights because of something they can't even control? Don't equate religion with law, they're NOT the same thing. If you really don't want gay people to marry in the church fine, that is your religious freedom, but when it comes to their being able to marry without the church, then they must have that right to do it.
