- This is how to remove SIM card from the iPhone 12 Pro Max. This easy to follow video tutorial will demonstrate how to insert SIM card iPhone 12 Pro Max and then how to take the SIM card out of the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max. Things you will need: a Nano-SIM card from your smartphone carier, the SIM ejection tool which can be found inside your iPhone box. If you lost the sim card ejection tool, you can use a paperclip or earring. Don't use anything sharp.

Yeah as long as it is a nano SIM card it should work. If not contact your carrier and the can make the switch.
My 12 pro max SIM card slot is in the middle, so why is yours at the bottom?

Not sure how it works in the US. Here if it’s locked to one carrier it would not work unless the phone was unlocked to all carriers.

Not sure but it’s the same SIM card.
Do you have to change your SIM card from the old phone to new phone ? I just bought new phone and transfer all the info to new phone but I was not sure if I have to put the SIM card to the new phone or not ?
If it’s a nano sim it should work fine. You can always contact your carrier to be sure though.

I can't get the sim into the new phone - does it need a bit of force? Or is there a right way round to insert it? I also have muddled up the old sim card holder with the new and they are different sizes. Help....!please

Why do these SIM tools not work the way they are supposed to, I have used 2 of them and they will not go in even with slight force, it's tip is bending and the back phone tray will not pop off.
Not sure, I never have an issue with it but I open them all the time.

Thanks so much this was really usefull I recentely dropped my phone not to long ago. And I was scared cuz. I tried to do something dumb I tried to do it with a led pencil but a piece of led got stuck and I can’t take it out. I was still able to take out the sim but I’m a little concern what should I do to take it out. Or should I just leave it the way it is will it harm my device?
I mean it’s up to you if you want to take it out. If it was me, I would just leave it but I’m not sure if it can cause any harm, I just assume it won’t. You can take it to apple or any repair shop to see if they can remove it.

What happens if you powered off you phone and everything and it still doesn’t work?
If the sim won’t connect you would need to call your carrier.

I have this phone and, unfortunately, paperclips haven't worked. Nothing I've tried has worked. Since about 15 minutes ago, I've been unable to make calls, as the phone now says the SIM card is locked and it needs a PUK code. I've had this phone for years. What the h***?
That is so weird. If nothing will pop the sim tray out, your best bet is to go to Apple or better yet your carrier. It seems like a carrier issue so they should be able to help and most likely open it for you.
@@DHTV - Thanks for responding. It gets stranger still. Skipping all the strangeness, I ended up having to go to the carrier. They weren’t able to open the SIM card port, but were able to unlock the phone, although they can’t explain why it was locked.

Looking at how much these iphones cost it would be cool courtesy if Apple included a sim tool with it or atleast a paper clip smh.
It’s included with the unlocked version but the ones locked to specific carriers seem to be missing them sometimes. It might be the carrier requesting them to be excluded, not sure.

My iPhone 12 pro doesn’t have a hole to remove the SIM card slot, but it works just fine. I wonder if T-Mobile uses SIM cards.
Could be that your carrier doesn't use SIM cards.
The paper clip did not work - use a push pin 📌 as that worked immediately! Thanks !
