My first gig was SLF I was 14, Henry was just a monster on the guitar, you thought he might break the whole guitar never mind a few strings. A great raconteur . You've made me feel old sir
I met Henry and his wife in La Crosse, Wisconsin around 2004/5....a very nice man....I saw SLF in the Barrowlands in the 1990s...can't remember the exact date...
Excellent video of two top blokes chatting and having fun at the same time. Henry always comes over as a what you see is what you get down to earth funny guy. Probably could of been a stand up comedian if he didn’t choose music. He must clock up the air miles touring based in the USA?
Nice one Dunsy, great interview and Henry seems like a very nice guy, used to love covering SLF songs in the eighties …many a fab tune and you appreciate the songs even more as a result of getting to play them.
SLF were a great punk band with Henry in their ranks
Feel so lucky and privileged to have been a teenager of the late seventies and have slf to listen to. It shapes you,no gene of music compares.

Henry, as he states is a huge Marc Bolan & T.Rex fan as well, which always elevates one's awesomeness to another level.

I forgot to add I saw Eddie & The Hotrods & The Damed at the Nashville Rooms in London in the mid 70s Eddie & was easily the better entertainment .👍🍺
Classic double bill right there DL!
SLF are a poorer band without Henrey that's for sure.
