This one REALLY reminds me of "Rosanna" from Toto. It took me a minute to put the pieces together, but I'll bet if you were to listen to these side by side you'd hear it. :D

at 1st the side chain compressor was annoying me ... then i just leaned back into it and all is well

Hi Luke, not a cat lover, but love the sounds in this. What synths did you use?
Minimoog for bass. Prophet 5, Juno 6 and Oberheim OB8 for chords. E-mu Emulator ii for guitar. Yamaha CP70 piano and Hohner D6 clavinet. Drums were Oberheim DMX 😊

This is very cool, typical 1980’s Sci-Fi, Spacesynth, thanks a lot Luke👍 But why is there an anthropomorphic cat in the title role!?😃 It's so popular and nothing new. Because of the popular animated series Thundercats, from 1980s and SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron, about battle cats, fighter-plane pilots? I would like an anthropomorphic cosmic boar, or bull, because I was born under these signs, according to Chinese and Western horoscopes!🤣🐗🦬🪐
The title role was inspired by a real life cat called Gina who I often babysit. I actually conceptualised the album, writing demos with the cat next to me on one of these occasions. And I really like cats and synthesizers 😀
