I just discovered this game existed today while in a used game shop, i bought it out of sheer curiosity.. aaand uh well it gave me a good laugh anyway. Didn't get past the bird level, the frame rate was just not ok.
What the actual heck?! There is no North American NTSC version of this game?! Darn it, I thought Data Design Interactive was capable of releasing video games based on franchise popular in other continents besides Europe and Oceania, such as Lego Rock Raiders and Tonka Monster Trucks! My goodness, I guess not all European video game publishers can afford to release such games outside Europe and Oceania. Anyway, nevertheless, nice walkthrough! I never heard of this cool American cartoon series, nor this PlayStation 2 game, but they're cool.
DDI was eventually bought out and for its last few years was based in USA. Though by then they had moved away from ps2 and were making wii games. Im not sure if they ported this to the wii or not though?
@@RetroDetect Yeah, but not all games developed by them were released outside Europe and Oceania sadly. I guess Blast! entertainment couldn't afford to have their products released outside both continents, but however, it would've made more sense if this game was released in North America since that's where An American Tail was created. And I'm not sure if this game was released for other platforms besides the PlayStation 2, which was the most-popular video game console to begin with, so I'll have to check. I'll be sure to check out the actual cartoon series sometime, so thanks!
RetroDetect, that’s right, and Jake Sharatt, several videos have this because they want to make their videos copyright friendly, which is understandable since most are specifically owned by different companies.
