    Thanks. You are a life saver, however I just placed water and eggs at once without waiting for 2 hours as you have explained, is there an impact?. I have subscribed to your channel. Keep pushing and your channel will also grow. I started this way. Thank you.

      How often do you pour water?

    • @Stepsfarmcare
      @Stepsfarmcare  10 днів тому

      Generally, you need to add water every 2-3 days, depending on the incubator model and room conditions. Keep an eye on the humidity screen.

    • @Stepsfarmcare
      @Stepsfarmcare  10 днів тому

      Thanks for subscribing! If you placed the water and eggs at the same time without waiting for the incubator to stabilize for 2 hours, it might affect the initial temperature and humidity levels. This could cause a slight delay in warming the eggs evenly. However, as long as the incubator reaches and maintains the correct temperature and humidity quickly, the impact should be minimal. Just keep monitoring the levels closely for the next few hours to ensure they stabilize. Best of luck with your hatch, and feel free to ask anytime!

    The first tutorial I had did not mention anything about spraying the eggs with lukewarm water...I think that's why I made a Loss of over 15 eggs...I kindly beg you respond to our views...I am impressed.

    • @Stepsfarmcare
      @Stepsfarmcare  10 днів тому

      I'm sorry to hear about your loss of eggs. Spraying eggs with lukewarm water during incubation can help maintain humidity levels, especially in the final days before hatching. This is particularly important as lower humidity can lead to dehydration of the embryos and poor hatching success. Next time give us a direct call incase of any issues.

    Is the breather supposed to be opened after the chicks start hatching?

    • @Stepsfarmcare
      @Stepsfarmcare  10 днів тому

      Yes, the vents or breathers of the incubator should be opened once the chicks start hatching. This helps improve air circulation and allows fresh air to enter, which is crucial for the chicks as they emerge. Proper ventilation helps reduce carbon dioxide buildup and provides the oxygen necessary for the chicks' first breaths.

    Spray start from fast day and after 12 hours?in the day?

    • @Stepsfarmcare
      @Stepsfarmcare  10 днів тому

      You can start spraying the eggs with lukewarm water around day 18 of incubation. This helps maintain humidity and supports the hatching process. It's recommended to spray a couple of times a day to ensure optimal conditions without overdoing it.

    Shall we put less eggs also ?

    • @Stepsfarmcare
      @Stepsfarmcare  10 днів тому

      With fewer eggs, it’s easier to maintain a consistent temperature throughout the incubator, leading to more uniform hatching conditions.

      Water Evaporation: The water in the incubator may have evaporated faster than anticipated, especially if the trays were not filled adequately or if the incubator is opened frequently.
      Room Conditions: Changes in the ambient temperature or humidity of the room where the incubator is located can affect the internal conditions of the incubator.
      Incubator Seals: Check for any gaps or leaks in the incubator seals that might be allowing moisture to escape.

    Ventilation ndo vp hiyo hole hapo juu ukifunika chicks zita develop kwel

    • @Stepsfarmcare
      @Stepsfarmcare  10 днів тому

      If you cover the ventilation holes completely, it can lead to poor air quality inside the incubator, causing an increase in carbon dioxide levels and a decrease in oxygen. This can stress the chicks and hinder their growth. It's important to ensure that ventilation holes are not obstructed to maintain a steady flow of fresh air while regulating temperature and humidity. Proper airflow promotes better development and helps prevent issues like overheating or respiratory problems. If you have more questions about ventilation or incubation, feel free to ask!
