How come you took the foot pegs off for the test? I see the brake pedal took a beating

Hard to watch 😬😬😅. Great job tho. I see the mirrors are removed. Soft ground is where damage was done to mine, mirrors included. the bars sink in to the dirt leaving parts exposed to rocks ect.
Well if you are ever in the market for mirrors I run Doubletake mirrors on a ton of my bikes. While they arent total abominations some may not like the look but they are for sure tough, but also flex out of the way. If you can find a way to break them, you can buy just the glass for like $7-8
Pretty hard test. I will be considering this crash bars for mine. If you please, can you tell if the screen of the bike was damaged by the barkbusters in full lock during the test?
I am not sure I could swing the cost of a new 1290 SA, but if I did, OM bars would be on the bike within days of delivery. :)

I really think your stuff is great. The old 1290 combo was amazing. But the Canadian link of dual sport plus is $1200. That’s too much.

Not the OEM KTM lower crash bars. We can’t confirm the compatibility with the OEM auxiliary lights
There isn’t much that’d stop your bike getting serious damage in a spill at 45 mph. These and all crash bars are only really for a stationary or very slow accident to minimise damage. The video shows ‘worst case scenario’. Imo even a small spill could cost thousands in bodywork alone. I dread to think how much the tank would be to replace.
@@davidgidman7561 same goes for motorcycle armour. They help with small impact, but won’t do much in high speed crashes

It says sold out in the US webpage. All the items you sell for a 2022 KTM SAR are in fact sold out. Can you please comment on when they would be available?
The first shipment will arrive in the USA in about two weeks. The second one about 1.5-2 weeks after.

this test is pure rubbish....who drives at 5 miles per hour and falls suffering serious damage to the motorcycle....is out of all reality....why not try a fall at 45 miles on uneven terrain ...which is where one can actually fall....
Think a company that can do this type of stuff on their product. Appreciate their effort dude
The best test is to drop the bike from 100 meters
