Some of the most quirky stories in the Judge Dredd comic came when he left Mega City 1 and traveled across the cursed earth taking an antivirus to Mega City 2. One of the most quirky that due to legal action was not allowed to be reprinted till a recent law change allowing the use of copyright-protected characters for parody in the EU was the part of the Cursed Earth storyline that depicted the wars between rival gangs headed by the Burger King and Ronald McDonald. I heard they were meant to be republishing that part of the storyline this year for the first time in a book since the original publication back in 1978. A friend of mine had the diecast tank that could separate into two parts.
The thing that ruins it for me is the painted on white lightning flashes on the helmet over his eyes. I know that in the comic they're done that way to represent the ultra-smooth lenses of the helmet's eyepieces, but on a physical model it really detracts. They could easily remove that and just put in a nicely polished lens instead.

They have a bit of a backlog on the 1/12ths - Dark Judges, Dredd, Lawmaster all supposed to arrive this month - I can't remember if Rogue has been mentioned, think there was a Sov-Judge on the list. Not sure if they've ever mentioned Nemesis, Dreddworld stuff sells a lot better than other stuff, but 3A seemed to pick some odd characters to do first so...
Just got mine, disappointingly his suit has green paint on it that must have transferred from the other areas of the figure. Also the baton has ZERO weathering on it, you see on this one it has those metallic silver bits, nothing like that on the piece I have.
2000ad has gone down in recent years, they used to feature great artists, Boris Vallejo made his mark for instance. They used to be more gritty, I find they have toned down and are more commercial, thus being less different and valued.
The name Magazine in relation to weapons used to just refer to an area for storing all the ammunition or explosives. There are a lot of strong views on this and some say that if it is not fixed to the gun and is removable then it is a clip, while other say if it contains a feeder spring then even if detachable it is a magazine.
I hope thats a simple proof of concept figure. It looks really bad: paint-flaking, misplaced decals, etc. EDIT: I'm aware it's on the convention floor AND it had to be transported there, so its bound to have some handling damage, but still.
