How to replace Renault Talisman Cabin filter

Long story short, for a year I had a plan to replace my Renault Talisman 1.6 sci 118kw Cabin filter, but I always didnt have time till now...
To be honest it is not very hard work, but it will take some time, especially if you do it for the first time, plus you will have to remove a lot of parts to get access to the cabin air filter slot.
For this job you will need :
Torx 20 bit with screwdriver
and spare cabin air filter, i bought Bosch A 8546
To be honest I didnt think my cabin filter will be that dirty as it was, so I am really glad I finally had some time to do it, since it is crazy that I was breathing all of this.
On this video I as well show how to remove and install filter, as for some reason not many videos shows it. It is kind a frustrating in the beginning, because not only you need to remove the glove box to get better access for the filter, but as well the filter is way bigger than slot where you have to install the new one, so it may seem impossible in the beginning, but with a little pushing and bending, you can do it!

Is that filter location for all the Taliman’s ? I have a 2016 benzine one and I wander if it’s gonna be in the same place. Btw, thank you for doing this kind of videos. It was really hard for me to find someone doing this type of things on Talisman. Thanks mate ❤

My friend, you don't need to remove all these things. Just remove the lower part near the filter and everything will be fine.

Man the placement and the sizing of the filter slot is so f'ing stupid on this car I swear.
First time when I did it I think I spent almost an hour until I managed to squeeze the damn filter in that compartment.
That was almost 2y ago, already time to do another change now and I dread it.

@@watch3r1 yeah, agree (especially if you see that on the filter it is instruction how to install it on nissan, just 1 min work), i had my filter for a year, knew it wont be easy :D but if you ve done once, I think you will be fine!
