"Solace Valley" is a collection of FIVE electrifying, high-energy 80s-inspired synth and pop tracks that explore the 5 stages of sapphic heartbreak and how one begins to deal with it all. This EP will make you bust a move on the dance floor one song and curl up into a ball on the floor the next.
That being said, emotional whiplash has never sounded so good.

Aaand that concludes Solace Valley :) I’ve had the time of my life these past few months writing these songs (well, turning the poems into songs at least, not so much the writing part because there were a lot of puffy eyes and snot dribbles during that phase…) Just exploring what it means to process heartbreak for me personally. I’ve discovered so much of myself along the way and will continue to unravel parts of me I never even knew existed long after. I hope you enjoyed this little glimpse of my heart! Thank you for being here with me and making this journey a little less lonely. I’ll see you around :)

I just broke up with one of the best people i ever dated but mentally the relationship wasnt healthy and wouodnt be in the long run and we both need to figure things out about ourselves. Like im figuring out im probably lesbian. And these have been helping me cope with the feelings. In the same 15 mins we broke up my grandpa fell and broke his spine and he has altimerz and its veen just a emotional thing. Ive just been leaning on these songs and they have been helping me cope.

This applies to a lot of things in my life: huge found family break down which was earth shattering for me, people in my life I don't chat to as much as I'd like though I'm doing my best around some traumatic events and keeping them safe. Add on top a break up from last year that though I'm dating again, it can still pop up to give a sad smile... When I love anyone I care too much, I can't take it back. People think I'm joking and I'm not, if I say I love you that is unconditional. No matter what you do I will care for you and wish you well even when someone hurts me. If those same people a few months or years later pop up wanting to say hi, I'll be warm all the same

Oh my goodness, this entire EP has just been a rollercoaster of emotions for me!
Although I am personally not going through heartbreak, my mental struggles are pretty similar in a way that these songs just speak to me.
Wasted Potential: Was how I felt for so long, I was at my lowest and couldn't bring myself to even crawl out of bed sometimes
Stranger in the Crowd: Was how I was struggling to realize my own faults and shut everyone out, but started to open up a bit more
Said and Done: Where I am now! I am slowly and painstakingly starting to recover, I am by no means up to par; but I'm making progress
And this song: Is my goal! Where I want to be and how I want to see the world
Even though the true meaning is different, the lyrics and emotion just makes me tear up and feel sad about me not making enough progress; but then I just think that staying down won't help a damn thing and it motivates me to keep moving on up the mountain no matter how hard the climb!
These songs are easily my anthems and whenever I'm feeling down and ready to give up, I just listen to them and then get right back up again! Thank you for singing such wonderful songs that has helped me want to stick around!

Damn, girl! I don't know if this is a song of acceptance, denial, despair, hope, or what! But it's certainly an amazing expression of heartbreak. It never truly goes away, I suppose. But you find some way to grow?

Dang it, now I'm crying; this is such an amazing song! I'll probably be listening to it on loop while thinking about that one friend who ghosted me three years ago. It is so wonderful getting to listen to your to your whole EP! I've been listening to your music since 2020 (found your through your Shera songs) and there was a good long while where I just listened exclusively to your music. And this was when I still thought I was straight LOL. I think your music might have helped me figure out that I'm queer and get me out of my "I wish I was a lesbian, that sounds really nice" phase. So thank you Eiry, and congratulations on your first EP!
