- History of the Bay Podcast Ep. 63 - full interview: • Lil Bean: SF's Geneva ...
In San Francisco's Geneva Towers housing projects, Lil Bean's father, Bner, was a neighborhood factor who exposed him to Bay Area rappers like Mac Dre and Messy Marv. When Bean was 11, his father died and he became the man of the house. After turning down opportunities to play college basketball, he transitioned to rapping as a way to provide for his family. Since then, Bean has racked up millions of views and streams, toured the country with 24kGoldn, appeared on Empire's Fo15 album produced by Zaytoven, and started his own clothing line, Beno World. Lil Bean has already made history as one of the hottest up-and-coming rappers from SF.

Paying your mama’s and family bills since 16, I salute you young man. Because you still are young. But was on some grown man shit for sure.
I’m not a Baydestrian, I’m from Daygo but got love ones from the bay. Being from Daygo we was always tuned in to Bay Area music whether it was from the Sco, to the V to the town. Lil Bean definitely one of the best of his generation that’s consistent and hard working.
Towers was wild man. I lived on Loehr and Sunnydale 2007 to 2008. Learned to keep my head down and mind my mf business lol
Shot out to G-Man 💯 B.I.P. Ace!! 🙏🙏
