I love how it represents the disappointment when you find nothing on the ceiling. You finally made it to the top after a long journey, only to find that you still can't leave. You realize there's really no way out of here.
Notice how every other song is a perfect loop that he abruptly cuts off. Except this one. It doesn’t loop and ends without a cutoff, almost as a kind of completeness. You’ve finally made it, the ceiling. You are safe. There is no way other than down.
This song has a very much deeper meaning. It represents the emptiness, the discouragement that you feel when you finally get up to the ceiling and there you find nothing. Not even a single thing that can help you escape in any way. It destroys any hope that is still left in you. Really leaves you wondering if you will live like this forever. Not to mention the height that you are currently standing at.
The top of the world is not as happy as people think, sometimes it requires a sad slower version of the main theme to demonstrate the sadness. It generates an eerie tone while also having this extra quality that I can’t place my finger on. I applaud you for this great work.
@@SimplyPlain And you can never again have peace. finally you realize why? Why did I do this ,there was no point I will die at some point by someone, no something.
This music is deeper than I thought really... The tone and mood really makes you feel trapped inside an endless hell of row after row of shelves with faceless monsters haunting you at night. The bare fact that it's you who are trapped and will probably never see the light of day again or understand truley what it means to be free. Your life isn't endless but this hellscape is...
Hearing that song in game... Being that high up. If you ever get the chance to get to the roof... Just look out into the infinite void... Press H and let out a whistle. I did that... My heart sank a little... But it honestly felt amazing.
If you focus on the music in this game, you can realize almost every piece of music in the game uses this same leitmotif, exhibited by the fact that you can notice this melody in Drone Theme and Severe Acrophobia. It's either Uglyburger0 being lazy (I doubt it), using the same melodies to let the music flow, or a message that there is no escape. Your fate will never change. You are just stuck in this infinite Ikea. No matter what your do, you can't change the inevitable. And to a certain degree, that really corresponds with real life in a way.
Hello this is the original comment that was in the other video so if you see this uglyburger, I wanna say thank you for featuring this comment in your video!
I never even noticed this is about the disappointment of realizing there’s nothing at the ceiling, I just remember getting to the ceiling with my friend and somehow we clipped through the ceiling and released djungelskog into the infinite expanse of the void. To me this is the song of the end of a long journey, and realizing you have to leave the server eventually and lose all of the progress you made.
I think I understand why this theme is so sad. You’re doing your best to reach your goal which is to make it to the ceiling, but once you get there you feel happy and accomplished. Then you realize you’re still going to be stuck. And these questions still remain; You reached your goal, but what is the next one? Will you be trapped in the IKEA forever? Is it possible to escape? Will you die from hunger, self-harm or the employees?
Even though on the surface it's a very silly horror game that me and my friends used to stack pizzas it is very delicate with its music. I believe this represents the feeling of reaching the top , knowing that you were one of the people who were there and we'll probably never be there again and also to see the ceiling which means that there's no way out of this place you're stuck in here forever and you're one attempt to get out has led nowhere.... Anyway about stacking pizzas-
This makes me think of Rain World, particularly the top of The Wall. Just looking out and seeing nothing but cans and clouds. It makes you think. It makes you feel alone. It shows you how _small_ you really are. How insignificant everything you do is. With or without you, life will go on. There's nothing we can do to change that. But, we don't have to be forgotten. There is no meaning to life. No purpose, no greater plan. There is only life. We live not to fufil some pre-determined destiny, but to leave our mark. Even if it's just a fingerprint, us being alive changes the world. What I'm trying to say here is: Don't live in fear of death. Enjoy life, and everything you have; because one day, you wont be able to.
I came up with the name but that means nothing. This track is one of the most beautiful tracks Uglyburger has ever posted, may he have a fufilling life and continue releasing these miracles we call songs!
This track is just beautiful in a way I can not describe. It seems like something that would play at the end of a game that has much story embedded into. It seems like something that would play at the end of a movie where the main character had sacrificed themselves in order to protect everyone else. Seems like something that would play as you look up at a cyber city at night. There’s just something absolutely euphoric about these beats and I genuinely think this should deserve more attention.
The euphoric joy of climbing all the way to the top of a pillar just to hear this song is indescribable. I was disappointed at first but jumping after all that effort and realizing all the shit my character's gone through, essentially this being the climax/end of the movie, and just cutting it off with one foot, and then the next, until you freefall... It's truly cinematic.
I agree! I didnt read the descripton and did exactly so! It took me about 2 hours but I still hear the sing for some reason (unless it was a different song that sounded simular) But even tho it takes like 2 hours its worth it! I would reccomend having at least 1 friend helping you tho.
You are in Ikea, your base was destroyed, only a few survived, you could not even kill any of the staff, you are wounded, you walk around Ikea hoping to see other people or a first-aid kit, but nothing ... There is nothing around you ... pillars and furniture, you lie down on the ground, the light turns off and the "Red Night" begins, you hear the sounds of the personnel walking towards you, you close your eyes ...
As you accept the fate god has chosen for you, you reflect on the days you’ve lived scavenging for recourses and realize that this ikea wasn’t a death trap in fact you had learnt to become part of the ikea the furniture it’s part of you it resembles you building the courage you hid the food resembles the determination that fuels you the ikea workers are everything that doesn’t believe you can do it you can do anything you put your mind too
It sounds like this: You are walking endlessly around this “new world” you’ve been in for 5 years and you see something in the distance. At first, you think it is an exit but it’s painted on. You are confused by what was going on and you carry on. It was falling to night so you made a sky base. You built for 3 months, near the ceiling and..on blood night, you see a strange door. It was on the ceiling so you go up. You open it onto the roof of the IKEA. You couldn’t get down cause of how high it was, so you stocked up and made a base on the roof. After 2 months you made a settlement with friends. The Scp Foundation found you all on the roof and took you in. Life was different from then on, and you wonder what other things are to come. Destiny awaits. (Not an idea for an update in the game) Edit: *THIS CRINGY AF EWW* Edit: STOP LIKING THIS COMMENT ITS CRINGE :( Me a year later: so, let me just explain more, as it isn’t cringe I’m just an idiot. You wake up, feeling lightheaded. You look up and see your room’s ceiling. Was it a dream? POV: you keep moving into different realities. :D
I call it eternal boredom, and it has been my imaginary fantasy ever since late childhood that i hope is real after death/end of time. I train hard on so many things, easily, because i use EB as my motivation (everything here should be easy for me, otherwise if not, i would fail in EB) And i can go "Eternal boredom mode" where i view everyone and everything as non existent (temporary) and my objective will be to finish whatever i need to finish, while i am in EB mode, if i have no choice. When i go to the navy seals Bud/s i'll finish it easier than anyone else, no doubt im the toughest soul alive for being like this. Not bragging or anything. Anyway... eternal boredom is something i hope that happens after death. It will be an after life mission that will last around 500 trillion years x 100-1000 (depending on how fast you do it) and it will consist of a billion levels, and each level can take up to a million years to complete before moving onto the next level. And the levels can be anything, i will list a few examples... -Be courage the cowardly dog and do his mission by protecting his owners and be in constant fear all the time. -Be sent to a specific area at night in a very cold place, you will have to go to the sea and catch things at night for a long long, while your friends go out into the forest and seek for whatever the purpose of the mission is. And it will be very scary and mysterious. Then suffer and suffer until we complete it and will have breaks in restaurants. -Practice throwing a rock, each day you will gain a foot in throwing distance, and the objective is to throw it to the sun. -Walking/driving to the stars. There will be a magical pathway were you can walk/drive straight to the stars and every 10,000 miles there will be a magical restaurant in the middle of nowhere, and eat and can rest, then continue walking/driving until you reach the stars. -The workout one. You will have to workout everyday for a very long time, because everyday you will only gain 1 lb of strength, and the mission is to be able to lift earth. Workout nearly all day to gain an lb of strength daily. -The walking one. Will have to walk all the way to the mountains, and the mountains will turn into a space ship that you will have to spend many many years studying it and learning how to operate it and stuff, and be sent out to space to do an impossible universal mission. -The protect family one. This is were me and my family and my cousins and friends family will be all together in a lonely world of evil. Our mission would be to never walk out at night because there will be monsters, but we will have to walk out at night but stay safe as possible in order to get supplies. And try to survive it until the mission ends. -This is similar to the one above. I will be in a camp with many other families, and we are just living in a boring world were nothing is happening, but something unimaginably great will happen and our mission goal is to wait for it too happen. -Be in a cabin in the woods alone, constantly got to be on a lookout every night for the unknown danger that is comimg for you, then kill it, and something will appear and you will have to head to it and find it. If it kills you, you will have to repeat the level over and over again. (Every level you fail you will have to repeat, you cannot leave it until you beat it) -Be in the backrooms. Look it up if curious, this one will be the scariest of all or one of the scariest of all levels. -Be stuck in Ikea and escape. Similar to backrooms, but much better. -Be a cell soldier of the immune system, and keep fighting over and over as every kind of cell soldier out there, against every kind of bacteria out there. -Have magical superpowers. You will start weak where you can barely lift a pumpkin with telekinesis, and you got to train everyday a lot, to the final point where you could fight supermassive black holes with your superpowers, to pass the level. -Be in rick and morty existence. Be rick and study to become the smartest man alive for decades, and then go on out and survive his crazy adventures. -Play goat simulator in a very huge map, and find 1 trillion trophies. You will be playing that inside a small gaming room sized house, and take breaks by going outside and breathe fresh air. -Keep driving on a road and take breaks as the only human alive, and there will be monsters on the way and you must out speed them. It was change as it does now mornings/daytime/nighttime. Nighttine is the dangerous time. -Be in baldis's universe, go through a crazy amount of experiences just like those funny videos on UA-cam. So yeah it can be about "Anything" like that and will be random since there will be a billion levels. Like a dream except this will be a very long time thing that will happen after death and will need to complete it to move on to next life normally or just not exist. Others call this hell, but for me it's a dream. Maybe I really am from another universe or something with this way of thinking.
This song puts you at peace, but pain. This song makes you feel happy, but sad. This song makes you reflect on the things in life you cant take back. And this song is truly a masterpiece. Aperiophobia, the fear of something infinite or uncountable, and summit, the top of something. These two words work perfectly together for a name. After hours in real time, you finally make it to the top. But at what cost? Nothing was up there, all your friends are gone, whats the worth in this if all you feel is guilt and depression? It really goes to show that SCP-3008 is infinite. There is no escape to the infinite ikea... and all hope is forever lost in this place.. (This comment is all over the place lmao very sorry if it literally makes no sense)
*"I reached the ceiling and and started breaking it to get out"* as i stare at the exit i was happy for once i couldn't wait to go home, tears go down my face happy as a person should be...im coming home..dad is coming home...." For those who went through every Ost to see the whole story line thanks this started as a joke but then i changed my mind and put an effort to it some of my comments may fade and drown in the comments section but hey not every goes as planned.
breaking the interior of 3008-1, as stated in its wiki entry, just leads to the non-anomalous interior of the original store.. :) but what if breaking through the non-anomalous part leads to the outside?
@@luker2935 Depending on certain parts of the ceiling, it will open up to the roof of various IKEA's around the world due to the fact that the area in 3008 is infinite and the roof of an actual IKEA isn't. Unless... It leads to the roof of the endless IKEA, which means an endless roof, and an endless sky.
To go quicker if u go to VIP singlet player (it’s free , you can see it in mods) or private server (costs 10 robux each months) you can place 2 AAAAAA long ladder to go to the top
this would be a perfect place when you get to the top of the ikea the feeling of happiness when I got to listen to acrophobia was immeasurable this is amazing music honestly and it would be amazing to hear it in the real game
You made It. You reach the celling, maybe we can make a hole and escape this horrible place, and be free finnaly. Okay everyone hold your spears, knifes and the fire axe we gonna open a exit. (NOT IKEA IN ROBLOX THE REAL 3008-1 OF THE FOUNDATION)
You've made it, only to find nothing. You realise now that you haven't found an escape, but you have found a way out. In a matter of seconds, you can take control of the situation, and you are faced with a choice.
I’m glad you always have something in place for the people who asked that question of “What if.” It gives them an answer, no matter how bitter that answer may be.
You make it to the top. Finally your escape. You try to break through. It’s too tough. You don’t feel like giving up since you worked so hard to get up here. You try. Nothing ever happens. You realize. There is no escape. No was to see the real world. It’s no use in jumping. Can you even escape here with death? Are you already dead? What if jumping doesn’t let you escape. Death won’t let you out of here... you would probably just be here forever. You give up hope and start walking back down. You sit in your base, tearing up. There is no use...
You did it. You reached the top, what do you feel? How do you feel? Are you happy or sad? Was it worth it in the end? These are questions you sometimes ask yourself. But in this case, what is it that YOU feel? The satisfaction of finally reaching the Summit or the disappointment of realizing..there's nothing there. No reward, no prize, no anything. The feeling of regret, or the feeling of..well..anything. The truth is, time is something that flies by, days passing and regret building up, so many things you could have done in the past is now gone. What happens now is your call. Make the right decision.
Thanks for this. I still think back to over a year ago, everything was different. For me it was different for the better. Over the course of a year this tune has ultimately become very nostalgic and sad for me. I know its only been a year, but for me it feels like forever.
I love that there’s a track for being at the ceiling. At one point, I climbed to the top of the store, having no clue that there was even a track for this, and when I got up there I was truly surprised. And this track sounds.. just beautiful. It seems really fitting, I can imagine myself looking down on this giant store in which so many different things has happened to me, from horrifying chases to fun memories with the friends I made along the way. Just looking down and reflecting. Feeling above it all. Anyway, good job.
You imagine that after all there was an escape route... You imagined you watch your family again... But then you realize there isn’t an exit... There’s no way to get outta this place... Where you will suffer forever... And then, you are ready to take your life... There’s no more hope left... And then... You jump, while thinking that the only way to see your family again is taking your life... And meeting them later... In the afterlife...
Just a while ago when me, my friends, and my sis made it to the very top to find nothing, we still celebrated for all the hard work we made and falling down almost everytime. I can never forget that moment. 😕
hey uglyburger0, I really like your game SCP 3008 is really addictive and simple I like how everything is really simple but I have a recommendation though...since this is in IKEA I think u should add different furniture like more types of beds or more types of TVs and so on... a really cool feature u should add is the IKEA shopping carts so you can carry multiple items at once without going one by one I hope u keep this idea in mind, I really love your game keep up the good work!!!
This song starts playing as you gaze down below. You realize that your hope had mislead you. It really is infinite. You'll never see your home or family again.
When me and my mates were playing on a vip server, my friend, HellGateStudioHD, summoned AAAAAAAAAAA Tall ladder, he was climbing on it so i teleported to him and climbed with him,he summoned another so we can reach the end of the ceiling, once we reached the top, My friend Roma, calledthe ceiling heaven, i didnt know that the song was gonna play at the ceiling, but, Nice music bro!
this song is 1 year old now and its still one of the best by uglyburger0, thanks for this masterpiece it makes me very happy to see how well your game has done and how it grew so big! i hope you continue keeping up the good work! thanks for bringing us such a great game! and don't leave us! we still love your work and we always will!
made a comment 1 year ago about how i loved hearing this whenever i was at the ceiling etc etc but tbh this ost feels just lonely and sorrowful you’ve reached the end, its over. but theres still no exit so you accept the fact you’ll be stuck here forever like seriously, its giving off “giving up because theres no exit
You have spent weeks upon weeks attempting to reach the ceiling, in order to find peace, to get away from those workers who desperately try to get to you. You finally arrived and hear this calming but sad music. Your heart drops as you realise that the ceiling holds no secrets on how to exit this terrible place. You try to make the most out of your achievement, as you sit there, regaining energy while you look down at the bottomless floor. You stay still, listening to the song, then realise... There's only one way down
As an og player of SCP-3008, this song hits hard! I've been playing since 1.4. The game has really improved since then!!! I absolutely love this song! Drone Theme and Severe Acrophobia are also great!
From the ground you get some sort of feeling when you look up and see endless "void" above making it seem as if the world above was an escape, but from the ceiling it is quite the opposite having it really set in when you reach the top that you are truly stuck and imprisoned. Also on the ground you seem free, able to move around and go anywhere, but once again it is the opposite on the ceiling making you seem trapped like if you made one wrong step you would fall into this "void" below and die. ( I also like the title of this soundtrack "Apeirophobic Summit". Apeirophobia being the fear of the concept of infinity, and when I look down from the ceiling I do conceive that it is an endless freefalling void below me. Nice touch by the creator. )
This is so beautiful. When i made it to th top i fell in love with the sound and then one day i lost it bc i recorded it cus i knew i will never hear it again but the video was lost soooo i was looking for it the past idk YEARRRRR to find it and i am soooo Flicken happy i found itttt
Aperiophobia - defenition: Fear of eternity or infinity. Often associated with fear of dying, since many believe that eternity follows life. Very fitting name for this soundtrack, I love it!
It is possible to exit the Ikea, 5 people have even actually made it out (although one of them got killed by an employee right when they stepped outside)
its ironic... the song that makes you feel the true dread of never escaping and forever in a loop of being trapped... doesn't loop like the other theme's... gives you a sense of disappointment... but as well a sense of accomplishment for giving a answer if there is truly a escape... the answer... no...
this song is a masterpiece. the first notes are feelings of hope. you finally made it, your free.. the next notes give off a sense of realization and sadness. but just when you thought you were free, there was no exit. the interchanging of these few notes give off the flip-flop of emotions, maybe theres hope, but is there really? the next notes are these emotions growing stronger as you venture the strange land. high notes are the hope, finding food, the low notes are sadness, theres nothing but empty space before you. The slow sound in the back that appears around 2 minutes represents the lust for travel, to see if there really is something more out there. then that noise stops, as you once again realize, theres no use. even if there was something, you couldnt travel that far. The occasional Fog Day lines playing give the player a sense of wariness, what if theres an even worse employee than Hubert out here, in this strange void. this song is just.. breathtaking. my first time hearing it was with my friends, when we all started glitching badly. we would teleport up to the ceiling then fall and instantly die, and we couldnt control it. we were all panicking, until Swirl/Velvet got teleported father than that. He ended up ontop of the ceiling, and wanting to share this strange area he tped me and Oel/Cham up there. when i was teleported up there, i instantly felt calm. the music relaxed me, but kept me on edge after all the craziness that happened. Afterwards we all somehow glitched through the ceiling and fell, and the glitching continued. soon after that, Velv got teleported to the ceiling again. he teleported everyone in the lobby (all friends) to him, and we discovered that there was more than this weird mini platform. we found food, and thats when the hope notes really hit me. someone said there was a strange achievement, 'the lost survivor'. we thought that maybe this survivor was here, on the ceiling. Eventually i had to leave, but now as im listening to this i realize how perfect this song is.
"After suffering loss of friends, stress and hope, you decide this is where you will be living for the rest of your years, stuck in this infinite nightmare,. No.. There is another way out of here. You build a stair case up to a high place, your only friends beg you to stop as you build higher and higher and higher, they cry tears as they see you deciding that, "this is no place for me, I deserve better, I deserve an ending to this." you jump down the high stairs into hard concrete floor, you feel the last gust of wind in your life, you hit the ground. It hurts, but atleast it's over :)"
One time I was playing 3008 with some roblox friends I have, and we built a sky base. I never knew they were making one, so I made a base myself. I put a marker where my base was, and even from the sky base I could see my old base. It was nothing special, but I still felt like I'd been with it for so long. I decided to make my little apartment as close as I could. Still, I felt like I had been there for so long.
This is actually a really smart name for this song. Apeirophobia is the fear of infinity or the uncountable. Summit is the top of a mountain or hill. So Apeirophobic summit means the fear of an infinite mountain top, which is exactly where you are, since this song plays when you reach the ceiling. You are at the top of an infinite mountain
There may be nothing at the ceiling, but I got to listen to this for the first time in game, it was a wild ride. 30 minutes to an hour just to get to it. It was worth it, in my mind.
At least 2,000 studs in the air, above a vast amount of space in some furniture emporium. You blow a little whistle and it develops into an inaudible sound not one individual is able to hear.
my friend and i decided to climb to the top to see if there was anything and actually managed to get out of the world, on top of the ceiling. it was exciting at first but then a sense of sadness washed over us as there felt like nothing to do. the game wasn't really over, but it felt like we had finished it in a way. got that sense of closure if ykwim? like when you finish your favorite game and you just feel empty inside. the game has more to do here but just knowing there's nothing provides an empty feeling :')
This is beautiful it imagines me losing someone and cry in my pillow its so intense I lost my cat a couple months ago, this reminds me of that moment❤😢I image a lot more thank u for this song…
Adds a whole new perspective on this SCP. You may have your friends and you may have comfort in the bases you make but in the end you’re forever trapped. There is no top to the roof, door on the wall or hole etched in the floor; this is your life and you have to accept it. The comforts of the sun now replaced with artificial lighting and family forever gone from sight. There are many tragic SCPs but this music has made a brand new look on the endless ikea.
This piece is beautiful. The memories I associate with it is playing with my friends at 3 am, being bored, and deciding to slowly stack up to the roof. Almost 30 minutes later, one of them is asleep, and the other left the game and just wants to talk. I’m the only one left building, but I finally make it. I’ve accomplished something tonight, I had a great time with my friends. Now it’s time to say goodnight.
The story behind how i first heard this is actually pretty funny. I was hanging out in a vip server with my friends Velvet and Cham, when we all started glitching really bad. at first it was only Cham, she would randomly be teleported around and she kept randomly dying and being flung to the roof. next it happened to me, i kept teleporting and dying. then, it happened to Velvet. instead of being teleported to just below the roof, Velvet was teleported *onto* the roof. He teleported me and Cham up there as well, and we began to relax, until it glitched more and flung us to our deaths. the glitching stopped for a while, we survived a fog day and a blood night right after, and then the glitching began again. Velvet once again was teleported onto the roof, and tped me and Cham up there. Cham realized there was food, so Velvet spawned palletes and made a mini base. I eventually had to leave, but it was fun.
“Severe Acrophobia” has a duration of 5:43 meanwhile this has a duration of 3:45. It’s perfect because this song is like the reverse of the other one. “Severe Acrophobia” represents the hopeful feeling. This represents disappointment and hopelessness.
This is the theme that starts playing when a character in a movie or show died, and they are showing the reactions of the characters that were close to that character. Or what it feels like to finish a really good anime.
This is why i prefer this to the unity scp 3008 because unlike them you have a beatiful ost that shows the true feeling and horror that captivates the victims of the infinite ikea and their urge to return to the world
this is so vibe.. oh hod i want die .. this remind be like : you are sitting on a cliff, on the grass - looking at the starry night that day, admiring the sparks in the dark paint.
there should be a story mode on the gamemodes tab. story idea: You come to RO-KEA to buy furniture for your new home. You step inside the store. You notice the logo looks weird, but you ignore it. You suddenly hear the door shut. You ignore it aswell. You grab the thing you want, and see that there are no cash registers. You: "I promise I saw a cash register right here the last time I came..." You realize the door has disappeared (sorry if i spelt it wrong). You start being creeped out. It's been 2 hours, you're starving. You find a piece of food on the table, you start thinking if you should eat it. Eat? (YES) (NO) Yes: You are no longer hungry. No: You continue to starve. It's night, you begin hearing strange noises saying "Excuse me, the store is now closed. Please exit the building." You suddenly see a faceless bald man in an employee suit. You hear him saying the same thing you heard earlier. You: "BUT THERE'S NO EXIT!" He continues saying the same thing and starts chasing you. When hes about to get to you, someone suddenly pulls you into their base. UNKNOWN: Hey, be careful next time. You: Huh? Where am I? James: Chill out, I'm James. It's nice to meet you. You: Oh, nice to meet you too James! I'm (username/display name). James: Are you new here, (user/display)? You: Yeah..I just came here to buy furniture for my home, then the exit was gone. What is going on? James: Come here and sit, I'll explain it to you. James: This isn't real RO-KEA. It's a place made by King, the leader of all of this. He made the "employees". Nobody has ever made it to day 100, but they say on that day, you will be beaten by King. Or else you survive.... You: What happens when I survive? James: Nobody knows, but legend has it you'll be set free with everyone else that is trapped. 2 LIKES = PART 2 (reply to be notified)
there’s something about this, that’s just so heartbreaking. i don’t know what but it has this “wait, im almost there…YES, wait…this can’t be. no. this isn’t right” kinda vibe to it and i love it.
Man why does this song sounds so... c418-ish, i remembered the nostalgia of just playing a survival blocky game, then here we are, in a survival roblox game. Thank you uglyburger, for making this masterpiece
"The leader returns after 14 days; He is a brave man, climbing one of these infinite towers and seeking an end to them. It is in one of the rooms we built in our base made with pallet dominance, I am happy to hear everything behind the door! I am excited, I feel we can finally escape with your discovery!" "- Then. Tell us, what does it say? And a way out too far?" "-..." "- W-What did you find her?.." "- nothing." "All the silence, I felt an internal shiver in my body, me. I hate that feeling." "- man... you can only be joking. Heh, what a joke, John...!" "- I am not lying, it is a totally infinite and completely empty essence, it has no employees and much less mobility." "-. What?.."
I love how it represents the disappointment when you find nothing on the ceiling. You finally made it to the top after a long journey, only to find that you still can't leave. You realize there's really no way out of here.
just theoretically, could you break the ceiling with some heavy tool/object? that sounds like legit way out of here.

Except this one. It doesn’t loop and ends without a cutoff, almost as a kind of completeness.
You’ve finally made it, the ceiling. You are safe. There is no way other than down.
Hunger
this is truly one of the deepest and saddest comments i have seen.
JUMP DOWN
Reminds me of interstellar
"Hah, looks like it's all down from here!" *jumps*
This song has a very much deeper meaning. It represents the emptiness, the discouragement that you feel when you finally get up to the ceiling and there you find nothing. Not even a single thing that can help you escape in any way. It destroys any hope that is still left in you. Really leaves you wondering if you will live like this forever. Not to mention the height that you are currently standing at.
And if theres one way up theres one way down.
Apeirophobia is the fear of infinity or endless things…
The top of the world is not as happy as people think, sometimes it requires a sad slower version of the main theme to demonstrate the sadness. It generates an eerie tone while also having this extra quality that I can’t place my finger on. I applaud you for this great work.
Never before i cried to this comment
It is sad because when you see that there is a ceiling, you realize that there is no escape and no way of ascending.

This is what the soft piano from labs was meant to be for. Nice job.

It does sound like the sad ending of something. It's quite the incredible piece of music with so much emotion.

It sounds like this:
You are walking endlessly around this “new world” you’ve been in for 5 years and you see something in the distance.

(Every level you fail you will have to repeat, you cannot leave it until you beat it)
-Be in the backrooms.

Nice touch by the creator. )

Hearing this in game, all the way up with shivers down your spine, it was worth going up here, don't forget this very moment.
this song is a masterpiece. the first notes are feelings of hope. you finally made it, your free.. the next notes give off a sense of realization and sadness. but just when you thought you were free, there was no exit. the interchanging of these few notes give off the flip-flop of emotions, maybe theres hope, but is there really? the next notes are these emotions growing stronger as you venture the strange land. high notes are the hope, finding food, the low notes are sadness, theres nothing but empty space before you.

This is actually a really smart name for this song. Apeirophobia is the fear of infinity or the uncountable. Summit is the top of a mountain or hill. So Apeirophobic summit means the fear of an infinite mountain top, which is exactly where you are, since this song plays when you reach the ceiling.
You are at the top of an infinite mountain
now my brain hurts

Top of The Infinite Mountain
Captain Burger, sorry I'm late sir here's your tea.
This is a foggy day today...
This is my favorite soundtrack he made, It fits so well with any ending of movie or something..
There may be nothing at the ceiling, but I got to listen to this for the first time in game, it was a wild ride. 30 minutes to an hour just to get to it. It was worth it, in my mind.
You touch the ceiling instead of grass.
At least 2,000 studs in the air, above a vast amount of space in some furniture emporium. You blow a little whistle and it develops into an inaudible sound not one individual is able to hear.
This song is the definition of “You did it... But at what cost..”

my friend and i decided to climb to the top to see if there was anything and actually managed to get out of the world, on top of the ceiling. it was exciting at first but then a sense of sadness washed over us as there felt like nothing to do. the game wasn't really over, but it felt like we had finished it in a way. got that sense of closure if ykwim? like when you finish your favorite game and you just feel empty inside. the game has more to do here but just knowing there's nothing provides an empty feeling :')
This is beautiful it imagines me losing someone and cry in my pillow its so intense I lost my cat a couple months ago, this reminds me of that moment❤😢I image a lot more thank u for this song…
POV. Ur stuck in a ikea but u can’t find an exit so u went to the roof but u started to realize that there no exit and ur stuck here forever
*Click* “Hello?”
The mans voice is glitchy.
i could imagine someone's pain surviving like alot of nights only to not find hope but sadness at the end
"hey found the sky pillar yet"
"DUDE IM FLOATING BRUH"
"YOU ARENT SEARCHING GO SEARCH MORE"
So is this gonna be the music when you’re a certain stud distance away from the ceiling?
it's for when you are at the ceiling, i'd assume 40 studs away.
Why 40 tho?
Hol up
I made it it's a few hundred away I think, not much

2.3
Now it’s time to say goodnight.
now this soundtrack is really making wanna go to the ceiling
Severest arcophobia
“Severe Acrophobia” has a duration of 5:43 meanwhile this has a duration of 3:45. It’s perfect because this song is like the reverse of the other one. “Severe Acrophobia” represents the hopeful feeling. This represents disappointment and hopelessness.
This is the theme that starts playing when a character in a movie or show died, and they are showing the reactions of the characters that were close to that character.
Or what it feels like to finish a really good anime.
This is why i prefer this to the unity scp 3008 because unlike them you have a beatiful ost that shows the true feeling and horror that captivates the victims of the infinite ikea and their urge to return to the world
this is so vibe..
oh hod i want die ..
this remind be like :
you are sitting on a cliff, on the grass - looking at the starry night that day, admiring the sparks in the dark paint.
there should be a story mode on the gamemodes tab.
story idea: You come to RO-KEA to buy furniture for your new home. You step inside the store. You notice the logo looks weird, but you ignore it.
You suddenly hear the door shut. You ignore it aswell.
You grab the thing you want, and see that there are no cash registers.
You: "I promise I saw a cash register right here the last time I came..."
You realize the door has disappeared (sorry if i spelt it wrong).
You start being creeped out.
It's been 2 hours, you're starving.
You find a piece of food on the table, you start thinking if you should eat it.
Eat?
(YES) (NO)
Yes: You are no longer hungry.
No: You continue to starve.
It's night, you begin hearing strange noises saying "Excuse me, the store is now closed. Please exit the building."
You suddenly see a faceless bald man in an employee suit.
You hear him saying the same thing you heard earlier.
You: "BUT THERE'S NO EXIT!"
He continues saying the same thing and starts chasing you.
James: Nobody knows, but legend has it you'll be set free with everyone else that is trapped.

there’s something about this, that’s just so heartbreaking. i don’t know what but it has this “wait, im almost there…YES, wait…this can’t be. no. this isn’t right” kinda vibe to it and i love it.

I am excited, I feel we can finally escape with your discovery!"
"- Then. Tell us, what does it say? And a way out too far?"

"- W-What did you find her?.."

"All the silence, I felt an internal shiver in my body, me. I hate that feeling."
