Asa, Ruka, Rora, and Rami trained for about 6 years. Ahyeon trained for 5 years Pharita trained for 3 and Chiquita had the shortest training time...about 2.5 years. Chiquita was 13 in this video.

Since this is YG, their trainging can last a long time. In the case of BLACKPINK the members were there for almost 7 years before they debuted. For BABYMONSTER, the majority of the members were there for around 4 - 5 years. Some of the video is from their auditions and early days of training. I keep telling people that the LAST EVALUATION wasn't a survival show and more of a documentary of their journey to debut. In KPOP when they are training to debut in a group, they can be let go or they sometimes quit because of the amount of work that they need to go through. In one of their introduction videos, you can see at least three people blurred in the dance evaluation meaning that they are no longer in the BAEMON project. Some of them started when they were 11 - 12. In YG Entertainment, they make sure that they are able to perform live so their vocals needs to be on point. And they make sure that they are thoroughly trained before they debut. The stress can be so though that even Ahyeon wasn't able to debut with the group because she needed to leave for medical reasons. Ahyeon returned when they were making SHEESH which is why that song highlights Ahyeon a little more than the other members. Anyone that has been following them since the beginning knows the potential of these girls. They are undoubtablely talented, each in their own right in singing, dancing, and rapping. Ruka is the one that we see very little singing but we know that she can. The only one of the members that we haven't seen rapping is Rora, the rest showed off their skills in their fan meet. In Thailand, during the encore "BATTER UP Remix" we saw Chiquita and Pharita do the parts that Ruka and Asa did. And we know that all of them can dance. Rami said that since she was so bad that she knew that she needed to practice more than the other girls just to keep up. So on her days off she rented a dance space so that she could practice for 9 - 10 hours each day she went there. All of these girls worked hard to get to their DREAM so this song is so fitting for them. This song is not the typical YG Formula of music so we all thought that this was the direction that they would be going when they debuted.
