- A quick walk-through on servicing the Santi thermovalve and thermovalve 303.
It is convenient to have a thin flat head screwdriver and a pair of thin needle nose pliers to complete this service.
Update** You’ll need (2) size 2x6 metric orings

Thanks, that is useful. Could you perhaps make a video on how you leak test a drysuit? (esp. about how you "plug" the arms and neck openings and how you actually trace the leak?)
Will do. We leak test a dozen suits a day. I’ll put one together over the next few days
@@timsgeartips Wonderful, thanks!
@@timsgeartips Did you ever make that video?
Great video but concerning the original complain - I have the same Valve and also already had the problem of self inflation. During a service I couldn't find any problems, so I got curious and tested my boyfriends Valve (same model as in the video, completely new and unused). It had the same problem as mine, so I'm afraid this problem is not caused by faulty O-Rings or debris inside but is a manufacturing problem from Santi. But that's just my opinion.
You might be right. Hopefully they get the issue squared away!
What size are the two o’rings?
You’re going to need a 2x6 v70
I have them at the shop if you have trouble finding them
@@timsgeartips excellent thanks. What’s the material they need to be? Nitrile? I found that size at a couple of places with the 70 sh durometer but only available in nitrile so double checking.
Yes sir, Nitrile@@ELCAM1
