Kinda like my Adam Jensen who embraced his transhumanist augmentations and became a badass sociopath! Never asked for those but totally liked them and the mayhem and manipulation that followed.

You do realize that both HR and MD are basically mirroring the world nowadays, right? The time of each games release they basically pictured the world today..

A lot of people are saying how much they love this game and are excited for "Part 2" and such. First of all, I really hope that anyone who loves this game, either has played, or will play, for the first time, the original Deus Ex game that came out over a decade ago. I'm really hoping that people know this was a reboot of an IP that already exists. Now don't get me wrong. This is the best thing to come out since the original. And I love to see a game that sparks so much deep conversation. This is proof of a controversial, emotional, and damn good story-driven game. And don't even get me started on how good the score is. Icarus and the main theme and everything else is just amazing. Mr. McCann did an amazing job here. But let's not forget - Deus Ex, the game came out a looooong time ago....this is simply a reboot....but a very good reboot.

In Deus Ex's case, I can not recommend playing the original today, because unlike other games (Syndicate (Wars), Jagged Alliance 2, Aces of the Deep, ...) it aged very, very badly I think. I thought about buying it on GoG.com, but figured I wouldn't enjoy it after seeing let's plays, the dead environment, the bad voice acting, ... While graphics aren't important, usually, in Deus Ex case they are, to me at least. To portray Cyberpunk well, you need the right visuals. The original doesn't have these for today's standards, I think. The music, to set another example, while liked by most, doesn't touch me at all. Human Revolution's OST though, gives me goose bumps every single time and is my most favorite game soundtrack ever. Also, HR isn't "simply areboot". A lot of skill and craftsmanship went into its creation and it shows. While the lore existed before, they didn't simply hit copy&paste, they created a masterpiece of a game.
People who are like "Playing god will be our downfall"... It's not a game or something to be afraid of, it's an evolution ! This kind of experiment must be done...You see it as wizardry but it's nothing more than science and nothing else ! (Also, sorry if my english seems bad, not my native language)
I loved the game, loved the soundtrack, love that part 2 is coming out and all I have left to say is that this Extended RMX IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! It gave me chicken skin! (goosebumps)

This is truly the most challenging and fun game that I have played that has been released in the past few years. While the endings weren't exactly great, the monologues were pretty damn thought provoking and certainly doesn't ruin the game. In fact, this is also the most replayable game I have played recently. Most other games that try to offer different styles of play don't execute it nearly as well as well as DX: HR (minus the boss fights). Every self respecting gamer should play this.
This one is probably my favorite one up till now, but every single time you upload a new one, it immediately turns into my favorite lol amazing, epic, beautiful those earthly words aren't enough to describe the levels you have achieved!
I love deus ex, I found the game to be a somewhat accurate prediction of our future unfortunately, anyways excellent music one of the best st's for a game I've ever heard

I did the same I stopped playing it for a while but now I finished it and got the pacifist trophy on ps3. Truly one of the best games. The design is llike a master piece and the song I can't stop listening what is actually really good for my works.
