This is better then Death Battle, in any Hero vs Hero where someone *has* to die when it’s unnecessary it always makes it feel very wrong, It got so bad I had to take a 3 year long break from Death Battle, honestly it shouldn’t even be called Death Battle in the first place, I can only stomach Characters acting out of character for so long before I’ll stop watching it all together, This is why I enjoyed watching this fight, no one else has to needlessly die to “settle” some debate when they could just defeat them, Again thank you for making this fight I Love it!😎👍❤️
Interesting to see a different opinion. I definitely understand that point of view but the death rule is kind of one of the many things that makes me like Death Battle so much. Ironic enough. I find it to provide a certain level of suspense that a no killing fight would have. And they usually have creative ways to execute the loser and over time they have gotten better at doing that while making the characters feel more in character out of respect. This was cool and i like the dialogue but Death Battle will likely do it better in a more cool way. It would suck to see ether character die but it would feel a bit underwhelming if they didn't. Plus im pretty sure Death Battle would likely find a way to include Luz's titan form to make the fight more fair and interesting like they have discussed in their podcast
i believe even at the end of there show anne would win but it would be kinda even because luz titan form is a bit strong and she can make spells but anne can can stop a moon with help

It has nothing to do with the durability or speed of the user, it just comes from their hearts. Anne on the other hand has all her abilities amped in her calamiy forms. Heck Anne survived a metal moon falling on her (Since metal is denser than rock, the moon must have been falling at a denser and hotter mass than our regular moon). All Anne needs to do is get in close and with her much greater speed she could just that.

As much as everyone loves this match personally I prefer luz vs Weddy both are modern cartoon with a connection to mystery and magic both have old mentor's who actors saw major success before the show eda's voice actor voicing Beatrix horseman and scrooge's voice actor playing the doctor both don't really fit in both have a close relationship with someone who were antagonist lena and weddy being close friends and luz and amity dating and lastly before the show begun they only had one relationship with there parental figure luzs mum and Ms beakly
Owl house and amphibia lutterly have the same premise. A girl gets stuck in another world and tries to go bad to the human world. Theyre both modern cartoons too
Anne was able to hold her own for a while without powers. But as soon as the powers kicked in well it was pretty much game over for luz. I would like to see a king vs sprig or Polly Vs hooty.
Luz may have had a few tricks that could keep anne at bay for a short time, but she lacked anything powerful enough to actually defeat anne once she went into her super form
While Luz did have the upper hand in variety and intelligence Anne had more power and experience than the good which. So in the end Luz became a big Luzer. The winner is Anne Booncuy
people love complaining that Luz didn't get her titan form but fail to realize she doesn't have ready access to her titan form. For her to get it, she has to die while the titan itself is at stake. Anne can turn her powers on and off like a lightswitch. That said it doesn't matter because even with Titan powers, Luz struggled to pull an old man out of a wall, while Anne nuked the moon with one finger.
I know that Anne can go into calamity form at will while Luz cant do the same for her titan form but it would have been much more fair if they both have access to their ultimate forms instead of just one if not then just fight in their base forms.

You have been warned! 1. durability remember, magic from the owl comes from the bile sac in their hearts (bigger the circle, the stronger the spell) eda said so herself. it has nothing to do with the durability, speed or whatever about the user. Anne on the other hand has all her abilities amped in her calamity forms. Seeing and has taken more hits than Luz ever did and with Anne much greater speed, all anne needs to do is get in close. (And I am not even bringing up Anne's best durability feat, the moon. Seeing that metal is much denser that stone, the moon has to be falling at denser, hotter mass than our regular moon and the jets on it only made it stronger (jets that can move the moon out of orbit are no joke). And Anne, Sasha and Marcy were all surviving that while the other robots were popping like zits. This would put Anne's durability several leagues above Luz's.) (what even crazier is that Anne also survived expelling the three gems long enough to talk to her friends) 2. speed Anne is also a lot faster. Luz's fastest feat is slamming into the titan's chest and scaling to eda and lilith, luz could react faster than lightning. impressive, but in anne's weaker calamity form she was able to dodge laser in slow motion, making her faster than light. way before she got that boost from the castle and got way faster and stronger. Heck even in base form anne has done some lightspeed feats like blocking the chicklist's petrification laser or keeping up with Sasha who dodged those same lasers repeatedly in season 3. (it might seem crazy but I think anne scales above the wart in the third temple who, according to Marcy's journal, dodged real laser and her calamity forms amp that feat. Heck both marcy and sprig have dodged/deflected those same lasers, and Anne should scale above them.) (also anne said in the journal that time slows down for her, making it easier to plan her next strike) (Anne's weaker form has also flew faster than andrias could react. The same andrias who is s comparable to hop pop who has dodged lasers point blank and has dodged lasers in his backstory. To fly faster than andrias could react, she would have to fly multiple times faster than andrias's lightspeed precision.) anne should also upscale to the core's helmet which flew all the way to the moon. 3. abilities Anne calamity abilities are more versatile than it would appear and are also abilities Luz just doesn't have. Like creating energy constructs, pouring energy in to stuff, Shaking the ground, infusing objects with her power, infusing her fist to make giant explosions, moving so fast it is like psudo- teleportation, and even durability negation like how she split that avocado. And with that much greater speed, Anne can use any of those abilities faster than Luz could react. Also, all the abilities I listed for Anne happened in her weaker form. Those were before she got the boosts and got way stronger and faster with those abilities. Also, Anne's immense power and durability render's a lot of Luz's magical abilities mute: Plant manipulation- Anne would be more than strong enough to break out Fire- anne would just tank it Invisibility (if she had it): Anne has delt with that before and could create energy fields/waves. Flash freeze-anne has survived the cold vacuum of space. (Luz's would probably not have the petrification power in her arsenal seeing she never used it in battle. And with her huge versatile arsenal would not think of using it seeing she can be easily overwhelmed. Even if it was one, Anne's calamity powers can negate durability like how she split that avocado. Sure Anne has not used it in battle but neither has Luz used petrification in battle. And with Anne's speed this puts them on the same terms of killing the other off easily.) These abilities do not have the same range or AOE as Anne and her constructs without preptime. with anne's speed she could maneuver around a lot of those attacks. Also, string bean can't help because she could only shoots black and violet energy. And guess what, Anne could: -manipulate the energy and send it back at Luz. -use telekinesis to get string bean out of Luz's hands. -Dodge it and attack Luz -or (cool option) tank the blast, fly through it and crush string bean one handed (palismen can be destroyed, that was proved with flapjack). Any of these options take out Luz's chances for huge range damage. 3. experience through their months on amphibia and the owl house, Anne and luz are fairly evenly experienced and resourceful fighters who could not Suprise the other with what they have seen before. but despite luz's iq and tactics and Anne's resourcefulness and maneuverability more or less matched each other, Anne used her calamity powers more than luz ever did with her titan form. so she technically has more experience in super transformations like titan luz. 4. opinion Also I think Luz can't scale to the titan's full power I can prove this by saying Luz turned into a half titan instead of a full titan and that she did not have all the titan's abilities like wings and fire breath or used other combinations. This makes sense seeing Luz got a part Of the titan's power and so did belos so those should cancel out. Also, I looked closely at the collector has his magic was not nullified when he was in Luz's light bubble. he was still able to summon a star board despite being inside luz's bubble of titan magic. And even if she did scale that would mean it would be her magic not Luz specifically and Luz's magic is limited to how fast she could react. But let's say I am wrong and Luz get full titan and collector scaling. Then we would have to bring in three stone Anne, which honestly, is over kill. Three stone Anne could scale to the guardian, a multiversal cat god. You may think that would be crazy, but I can support this. Remember in the episode "the core and the king" when Leif looked into the future. she did that by touching the three gems on the box. I looked at the amphibia wiki and saw that the guardian has the same ability. Also, when Anne used the sacred spell, she could not just do a laser blast, she needed something big enough to completely destroy the core moon. She could use it like she used her previous calamity forms like constructs. Also, I noted how the laser immediately when right through the moon and possibly even farther proving it would be even more powerful than the core's gambit. Those powers are beyond anything we have seen in the owl house, let alone Luz. So, while I think Luz could win in some circumstances with her versatility, IQ and longer transformation. I think Anne takes the majority with raw power, AOE, battle IQ, much greater speed and durability, and hacks more times than Luz.

Luz and Anne fighting to get home actually makes a lot of sense.
