Just test drive this today. It is way way better than the old 2014 Axia which my niece drives (which also maybe in terrible condition). The old axia feels like a motorbike trying to go uphill and needs to downshift gear manually and basically feels like a large cow trying to run. The new Axia, with 3 male adults, 1 very tall, 1 very tall and fat, and 1 shorter salesman. I don't feel it lacks power even when i don't hit the PWR button. There is no need to downshift gear like a manual car like my niece's old Axia. Also do not feels much vibration despite being 3 cyclinders. Suspension also feels comfortable. It is definitely a worthwhile buy. But i am not sold on the ASA thingy. To me it's just annoying. But 6 airbags is only availabe for the top specs, rest all only 2 airbags. This is it's biggest flaw.
Cheap?! RM38k to RM49k ( close to RM50k ) is cheap , for that price range it would be wiser to get the Proton Saga or the Perodua Myvi This new Axia is very unsafe and Underpowered 👎, in fact this car is a modern Yugo GV🚫👎

You’re not wrong, but I’ve heard that they’ll be making the “kosong spec” for this new axia soon, with manual transmission. Let’s hope it’s cheap! 👍🏻
