terrible auctioneer. he keeps confusing ppl with the current bid and the next bid. he should say the bid amount and ask is there another offer. many in the crowd (i was there) were asking what is the current bid as they were just as confused. the carrerra GT was suprizing. for that little amount. it was a million dollar car. but since the 918 came its lost money. its a good buy now
Actually the selling price of that CGT was in his current price range (remember to add auction fees as well). Also, being silver, you don't pay much premium as for CGT the color is definitely a value factor.
I am so frustrated every time I see a high end exotic sports car displayed for sale with the lift activated! The car should be presented and displayed in its most flattering stance, especially when the car is being presented for sale.
North America didn't have the Carrera RS at the time, so for 1993, Porsche made a handful of North American-spec Carrera RS, and called them the Carrera RS America.
Really looking forward for this bubble of ridiculous prices od older cars to pop. These things shouldn't be bought as an investment but rather by some enthusiasts to enjoy.
It seems like the "grab any classic or future classic" idea has set sailed and gone. Many of those cars didn't fetch as much as before. Or that the Americans are less crazy? I mean I get that the ultra low-milage Reventon didn't really fetch higher than its sticker price... its a digital age car that doesn't look or perform better than the mass produced Aventador. But Countaches, Diablos, etc fetching for less than lambos you can buy from the showroom... it's a sign that the market is on a downturn.
Aaaaaannnnddd because they're bought by people who just care about the money.... Nobody gets to see these beauties in the metal (or carbon fibre). Then the public complains of bad aspirations
Ferrari collectors are willing to pay that for a piece of history like Enzo. Saying it is ugly is purely your personal opinion, and at the time, it was particularly fast.
"It's only 25 thousand more, sir" LOL
auctions are so fun if you're if you have money
what?
My God all of these are absolutely breathtaking.
"It's only a 25,000 more, sir." 💔
I will personally buy you an HD webcam.
firelizard2 please do
tell me about it,why do they use such low resolution !
live chat was amazing
It is me .... or is the auctioneer charmless, aggressive & repetitive? Loses the room? Not as good as Max....?
I really agree! Used to love the auctions with Max, this is just unwatchable. Max left RM for his own car-brokerage by the way.
4 wheels on My wagon yes
Agreed - Girardo was the man, can't imagine how much commission they've lost on sales since he left - he really was a natural
4 wheels on My wagon yes

jack black 2,45 Million for that enzo in comparison to the cgt is just not justifiable
Felix Stock Stock considering La Ferrari's are going for less the Enzo isnt justifiable either. sorry i think we are actually agreeing.. yes?
jack black I mean, it's kinda simple if you ask me. He says what the bid is then ask for the next. They were very professional

That 1939 buggati is classic
There is a huge lag when watching this on mobile compared to PC ( this Lambo Countach is sold for 390 few minutes ago !!! ) - ???
was the '62 impala and 442 original?.....

Did the GT2 RS (lot 144) sell or not ? What does it mean when he says "we're gonna close it here at 425k" ?
no it was held (meaning didnt meet reserve)
A 997 GT2 RS passed at 425k..unbelievable (owner must be a little bit too pretencious)
yeah that's what I thought, already seems like a really good bid
Someone care to explain difference in careers rs and rs America?
North America didn't have the Carrera RS at the time, so for 1993, Porsche made a handful of North American-spec Carrera RS, and called them the Carrera RS America.
How is the price of the Lote 124 1955 Porsche 356A Speedster ?
What does without reserve and selling regardless of price mean?
3muration even if the bid is nowhere near the actual value of the car, they will still sell it.
3muration The market is cooling and most people realise that everyone is heading for the door and the exit is small
Holy shit. Someone just a deal of a lifetime with that reventon for only 1.2million. Sucks for the buyer that probably paid over 2million.
What is the current value of Enzo's in dollars? Because that ridiculous price must be down to it's previous owner right?
Lennard Hartman nope that is how much they are
Cars of that rarity dont really have a stable value. The prices fluctuate
That first cgt was a steal!
how do they know they are not roll backs
At this level of market they would be scrutineered intensely and the history verified
It's just 25 thousand more, if you can't launder that money here, what good is it?
Rough crowd.....
Jake was buying everything
Pro Habits jake represents the left side of the crowd, he works for the auction
Guillaume Chartrand man it's good to have a money I real like that Ferrari Enzo Tommy Hilfiger edition
Holy shit that Enzo..
Really looking forward for this bubble of ridiculous prices od older cars to pop.

Notice the dolt straight "facts" guy lauding the V12 engine in the Ferrari 512 BBi!!! Geeze, must be a one off special I guess.
GT2 RS!!!
CBAs if it ain't Max

What a boring auctioneer.
Why is Enzo so expensive? Let's be honest it's ugly and not particularly fast. Just because it's named after Enzo?
