One thing I failed to mention about the canopy - when fully extended, it doesn't always old firm and kind of collapses a bit where it's still fully extended, but looks a little loose. Hope the review helped you to understand the stroller better. It's still a top 2 option in my opinion.
Baby coming next week! Putting the Minu v2 and Mesa in my car today! I don’t want to hassle with a full size stroller and don’t feel the need and we have a small CX-5 so a Vista or Cruz would take up our whole trunk. I just need it for walks around the neighborhood and maybe grocery store and outings every once in awhile.
Since this video was posted, the Minu is now $50 cheaper in the US as well! I think I may go with the Minu over the Butterfly for the snack tray + cost savings
We got a Contours Bitsy about a year ago. Looks very similar but it was only $108. I'm sure it's lower quality in a lot of areas but when traveling, your stuff gets beat up by the airlines and we don't care as much when it's not a $400+ stroller. We have a Nuna Mixx Next at home too and sometimes I opt for the little cheap one just because it's so light and easier to fold and maneuver.
For parents with long legs, UPPAbaby is really the only viable option. Even at a moderate stride, your toes hit the brake bar on almost every other stroller brand. I have Cruz V2 and Minu V2, and I love them both.
Hi there, trying to decide between this and the Ergobaby Metro+ - I know the price is very different, but a lot of the specs seem the same. I'd like to use it for travel and daily use. Thoughts?
We’ve been debating between the Uppababy Minu v2, Bugaboo Butterfly, and the Nuna TRVL. Would love to hear your thoughts on the TRVL. We have the Pipa RX so we like the feature of just clipping it directly into the TRVL with no adapter needed.
I don’t know how anyone gets the trvl after trying it! My 10 month old baby can’t lay down in it as his head rubs against the (rough) top! I don’t know how they say this stroller is suited for kids up to 4 years old as they would never be able to recline?
Can these compact strollers but your everyday strollers? The Vista is huge. and tiring to carry in and out of the house daily. The vista doesnt seem to have a designated spot to hold it when folded. Constantly scared that I am going to pinch my hands
For me, the sturdiness is quite comparable. But when it comes to being "tippy," if you're hanging a bag off the handlebar, the Minu is much more susceptible to tipping than the Butterfly.
My family originally bought the MINU V2, but switching between toddler and infant was odd by having the adapters permanently attached. I didn't realize that the folding adapters were available before making the switch. We decided to go with the Nuna TRVL. Getting a Nuna Pipa on there is super nice and it hooks directly to the belly bar. The auto-fold is also pretty legit. We mix brands and still have the Uppababy VISTA.
Do you know if uppa baby is making attachments for a nuna?! I love the triv or trvl lx but can’t commit to purchase due to the UB Aria being so much lighter than the aire rx :(
About to travel on the 4th with my 9 months old. Have a Nuna Mixx, and I was going to get the Nuna Trvl but after trying it in store it feels like the Minu V2 canopy is better overall.
Hi! I’m Wondering if you or someone here can help me- i’m currently debating between the Nuna travel, and Uppa, baby menu V2. I have seen the travel in person and I’m questioning the comfort level my baby will have in the seat. Do you find one of these to be more comfortable than the other, or just about the same?
just so you know, the v2 is slightly bigger and a few pounds heavier as well. it was updated to resemble the bigger standard size strollers with the ability to add the piggyback. and also the bassinet can be adapted on to the stroller now as well.
There is a new single to double stroller called the veer switchback switch and roll. Can you do a review? It’s a single to double and really want to see it compared to the Uppababy vista.
We are traveling with our Minu V2 next month but a little worried it won’t fit in the airplane overhead and that they will give us a hard time… Did you fly with your V1 or V2?
Have you reviewed the sturdiness of the Mesa when attached to the Minu? I just tried this out with the adapters on a v2, and it seems to rock quite a bit back and forth. I don't have any context for how this compares to other strollers.
Hi! I just got the adapter for the mesa car seat with the minu v2 and is happening this to me. I notice that the car seat is rocking…did you get some answers on this? I don’t have experience either. is this safe?
@@marcelacameranesi1555Yes! I contacted Uppa, here was their response: "Thank you for reaching out and I'm happy to help! It is normal to find some motion in any seat, bassinet, or car seat attached to the stroller. The reason for this is that the allowed motion creates additional shock absorption to provide a smoother ride for your child. If all of the parts of the stroller were connected with no motion allowed for, your child would feel every bump in the road."
I bought the new Mesa adapters and I can confirm that you do not need to remove the seat liner nor the canopy! The minu v2 along with the Mesa is a fantastic travel system!
Has anyone had problems with the extended canopy not staying extended? I’m not sure if this is a defect in our stroller or if this is something others have experienced?
Thank you for another excellent review. I currently have the Cruz V2 and I absolutely love it. However I’m keen into selling it so I can get a compact stroller due to my family’s lifestyle. We travel frequently and we really only need one stroller that can do everything especially one that folds compact and fits in the plane’s overhead compartment. I know there’s no such thing but I”we need something practical for our lifestyle without having to gate check the stroller and risk getting ding which sadly has happened to our V2 Cruz 😢. I’m looking into getting the butterfly for this reason. I know it’s not the best for terrains especially in Europe’s cobblestones but I think it had more pros than cons for me.
Oh my gosh, good for you! We didn’t even think about this too much, put our gate checked Vista stroller in a generic bag and the airline pretty much destroyed it, gashes everywhere, chunks broken off, the back wheel ripped off too 😢. Now I’m also wondering which travel stroller to get
@@cookinma I’m sorry to hear they’ve destroyed your Vista. I know it’s such a crappy feeling knowing how much they cost. I had to replace the belly bar because the leather got destroyed along with the metal bar. Luckily the rest were minor scrapes on the metal frame but it still hurt my soul seeing my precious stroller all dinged up 😢 Luckily I called and explained what had happened and Uppababy was nice enough to replace it for free eventhough I used an Amazon travel bag. I just couldn’t justify paying $200 plus tax for a bag 😏.
Would you say the minu v2 is a good option for Disney world with a 21 month old toddler? I’m debating between this and the butterfly. We will be flying into Orlando and using the monorail, so that’s part of why I’m looking for a compact that is still sturdy and has good storage.
Thank you for that. Amazing review. We got the Minu v2 last week and we love it already. If you don't mind me asking, which aircraft was that overhead compartment on? We are flying the 787-9 in a couple of months and would love to be able to fit the Minu in there. We flew the A321 recently to California but we didn't have the Minu then.
I wonder if the minu can hold a cruz or vista seat since it can now carry the bassinet. 🤔 can someone try this I don’t have a cruz anymore to try it myself.
Was wondering the same, since a full sized stroller takes a lot of space for our small car 😭 so we are still considering whether to get a full size or minu.

Hi! I just got my Minu V2. I noticed when strolling on gravel, it makes strange noise. Is that normal? It's quite annoying when we go for walk. But when it is on smooth concrete, it strolls smoothly. Is the stroller only good for travelling or indoors?!
Just sold my Vista V2 and have now bought my Minu V2 for my almost 4yo. Need one for when she gets tired legs and she had so much room in it

I have MINU V2, and I'm very happy with it, but I wish it would have fully reclining option.
Yeah that'd be nice to see down the line. Seems like they should be able to pull it off pretty easily too.
Interesting the price difference in the US! In Canada, the bugaboo butterfly is $130 more than the minu.

Thanks for sharing that take. Yeah, brakes in the middle like Bugaboo and Colugo could be problematic.
I'm not sure how tall you are but my 6 foot 6 father in law doesn't have this issue with the baby zen. I'm over 6 foot too and never have this problem
Thank you ! This was one of my questions
For anyone looking for a cheaper option I absolutely LOVE the colugo compact and its worth every penny.
Yup Colugo is solid, review for that is here: ua-cam.com/video/wF31RRRyb10/v-deo.html
Seems cheap.
