Located in Jeonjin 2-ri, Ganghyeon-myeon, Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do, this beach is 1km long and 80m wide.
Compared to other beaches in the East Sea, the water depth is shallow and quiet, and the white sand is fine, so many family travelers visit. It is next to Naksan Beach with a mountain in between, and you can see Naksansa Temple and the statue of Avalokitesvara. The beach is operated from July 14th to August 23rd every year, and there is a campsite and convenience facilities of about 1,000㎡ in the sandy beach.
There is a paid parking lot nearby. City buses frequently come and go from Sokcho and Yangyang, and transportation is convenient as it is located along National Road No. 7. You can taste fresh sashimi at the live fish market right in front of the beach.
You can enjoy sea fishing all year round on the breakwater. Nearby tourist attractions include Naksansa Temple, Naksan Port, Hadojae, and Osaek Hot Springs.
