4 years ago, we were lucky to see this plant bloom in Crescent City. CA. We got cuttings and you can see how things turned out. We really enjoy sharing it. Hope your day is really good.
That was a beautiful time lapse on your Aeonium blooming. 😍😍 The Aeonium itself is already very pretty but it became more so after showing off its flowers. My son saw a peacock spreading out its beautiful tail once at a zoo and he called it "showoff". Now I use the same term for any plants that showcase their blooms. 😂😂😂
Thank you Molly! The plants have really started "showing off" this week. I feel overwhelmed by it sometimes or maybe I just feel "whelmed" because... we do a little work to make this happen. Hope your day is really good!
@@hankscactus3973 I know how you feel, Hank. I do most of the work in my garden myself with some occasional help from my family. But we love our plants so we keep on doing it. Happy gardening, Hank!!
It was about 40,000 pictures taken over 6 weeks. Every day … when the weather allowed. I was determined to do my best to capture what this plant does. I think this part of the plant will die now. No fear though.... have propagated many more plants from the cuttings. Thanks for watching Olga!
What an effort to make this video! Great job. I’ve never seen an aeonium flower before. Thanks, Hank.

This must took you weeks to film. But it is gorgeous. Does the plant will die now?
