Rough weather? Are you kidding? Looks like a beautiful perfect sailing day. First of all, put your sails up, second, man up! It looks like it’s barely 12 or 15 kn.m - a perfect Sailing breeze for any size of boat and just for reference I’ve been sailing for 60 years on Lake Ontario; Most recently in October and 30 kn breeze and it was a fantastic day with 8 foot waves. Maybe you should take your video down and stop embarrassing yourself.
@@heroeslifeboats you have never sailed on lake Ontario good try and you are very upset over this video why dont you work on controlling your emotions that's how I know you have never sailed a day I your life
@@panzergaming444 I am not angry in the least I just think that the video is not particularly engrossing or dangerous in any way. Sorry to have rankled - you not my intent, but clearly your inexperience shows. And for the record, I have sailed both the Great Lakes and in the ocean cruising and racing extensively and I have a 40 foot boat, which I race extensively…
@@panzergaming444 and for the record if you’re worried about having too much wind. When you put main sail up, which should be first, put a slab reef in but make sure the foot of the sail is really tight. Haul the main up as tight as you can to take out any fulness in the sail. Use a Cunningham attached to the grommet just above the tack of the main sail to further remove any fullness. This will make your main much more efficient and manageable. When you haul your jib off the deck, make sure you haul it up tightly on the halyard so that you end up with a very tight luff area. This will also make your jib more manageable and move your jib tracks aft for better draft. Then smile enjoy the breeze and the fun.
"There and back again" i always say that quote when ever i dock the boat safely
