How come FT does these things where the most a-hole antagonists turn good? I'm talking about Hughes in this episode. Wasn't she getting high from manipulating people's bodies? Now she's on our side. Has anybody else noticed these drastic character shifts, too?
It's not that they suddenly turn good, it's just that they weren't willing to be vulnerable with their enemies, and now that they're not actually enemies anymore it's revealed that they're complex people with good parts AND bad parts, it's pretty common for fairy tail to reveal that a villain was only a villain because they'd been hurt before in their lives and wanted to get back at the world for their suffering
Please, don't at me for saying this, but they really could just watch the dub you know 😓 The subs literally don't make any sense a lot of the times. I think there's two versions of the dub, the one I watched was absolutely flawless.
