I understand that the All-Star selection helps with resumes, but we all know that the All-Star selection now is useless. That entire celebration weekend is a waste of time.
It's mainly because he is only an average player in the regular season. He really steps it up in the postseason. He has the highest career ppg increase from regular season to postseason in NBA history (+7.8 ppg).

Murray is a great example of how to perform well in the modern well. Clearly has the capability to do a lot more in the regular season but he relies on his teammates. And he certainly does enough to ensure his team is a top three seed. But when the Playoffs come around he steps up his game and truly elevates his team to new heights
