As much as I love my life and would never trade it for anything... listening to this and seeing Ghostbusters make me want to be a kid again. Growing up in the late 80s and early 90s were just so innocent and pure. Music was great, movies were great, and we weren't attached to cell phones or iPods.
this song reminds me a bit of my uncle, who lived in the US for over 28 years more so than where he was born, england. But he died from cancer on thursday, and now im thinkin, everytime i see a video anything to do with america, i think of my uncle. And im torn between being upset, but then being happy that he lived his dream, his big dream was to go to America, and he did that and im so proud of him, he was only 50 but how can i complain, he was a winner. RIP uncle. love ya

As much as I love the Ray Parker Jr. theme to Ghostbusters. Bobby's On Our Own set the tone for GB2. I had picked up both the GB2 and Prince's Batman album that year. I must've worn those cassettes out because that's all I played in the Summer of '89 XD !!!
