If they do not want to rebuild it, we will rebuild, or we will settle in tents, we will will stay in anything and figure things out for ourselves."

STORYLINE:
Palestinians swiftly rejected U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposal to have the displaced Palestinians be permanently resettled outside Gaza and proposed the U.S. take “ownership” in redeveloping the coastal enclave.
"We won’t leave our land and our country. We are living here. Despite the destruction and everything, we are here. And we will remain here," said Palestinian woman Haiyam Jahjouh.
Trump’s suggestion came at a White House news conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
