Had so much fun with GBVSR. Not much change from Belial here, but he got some nasty (and funny & original xddd) stuffs thanks to new game mechanics, and he can do even more cooler combos. And more steppy 🥴🥴

Having Belial as the announcer voice makes it even better. Man has a derogatory nickname for everyone except himself, his Avatar version, Gran and Djeeta.

Unironically this is the first 2D fighting game that's really CLICKED with me, and this is the second character I seriously tried - and I'm equally baffled and amused that I'm able to keep up with my far more experienced friends with this horny af goth XD
And Granblue Versus has served it purpose

I feel very similar. I have some experience because I also play Guilty Gear Strive casually (still terrible at it), but this is by far the Fighting Game I have really picked up and understood the fastest, and even managed to get a few wins surprisingly quickly online. Ladiva and Belial are definitely the characters that clicked best with me and I am loving this game

One thing I loved GBVS a lot is the fact that it's probably one of the absolute BEST fighting games in terms of being user-friendly. It allows everyone to enjoy everything that makes fighting games so great, but without going through a ton of usual bullshit before you can actually start competing. I haven't tried GBVSR yet, but I'm really looking forward to do so. I can't wait to see what the game has in store!

I love how since 2.0 after the nerf of Gran boot, the Gran boot itself was nerfed to oblivion, yet not only Cag got the same with the old properties, but also now with Rising some other characters got the old boot as a NORMAL that is dash heavy, and even Belial mocks that fact, while Gran is stuck with useless 214M. Did you know that between 2.0 and somewhere before 2.5, the boot was so nerfed you could Grab Punish it after being HIT.
Long live Belial. And Yoshimasa Hosoya has one of the sexiest voices of this planet.

and yeah, they REALLY need to adjust regional pricing. it's pricey enough over here in the US, my friends in canada, brazil, SEA and elsewhere are really frustrated with how ridiculous the price is for them. i can buy them copies when the game goes on sale, but it's just not a solution for everyone- they need to fix pricing for this game if they want to make sure people play it longterm

Basically you want to purposely end your combo or meet a combo limit with a jab or autocombo mid juggling, framekill with a button, and 214U
