Does your wiring harness allow you to charge the house batteries from your vehicle alternator? How much additional solar can your solar controller support?

Why is it $1500 for the installation of this? It’s $3500 to add to the trailer and the unit price is listed as $1999 on Dometics website

How loud is this unit with doors closed? Do you offer the RTX 2000?

Can you have it running while driving?

My question is, how necessary is it to have an A/C in a teardrop? I guess if you live in the Southeast where it's very humid at night but most other areas in the U.S. cool off at night. Hmm... interesting but is it necessary?

Sounds like it's not for you then, but here in Texas, it's necessary.

So how many watts per hour does it consume?

When in manual mode, if the cabin temperature is below the set temperature, does the fan stay on to circulate air and keep the compressor off? Trying to understand if I could set the temperature setting very high and keep the unit in manual mode on a low fan speed for a white noise effect without drawing too much power hopefully.

Great question, Stefano! From our experience, yes, however we haven't found this stated in print by Dometic anywhere. When we set the unit to match the ambient air temperature and ran the fan on manual mode, the compressor wasn't kicking on and the fan was circulating air. With the stargazer cracked open at night, this was very comfortable for us. We have gone days without needing to recharge with anything other than the solar panel. These details might warrant a video revision at some point, but at least we've got it in the comments!

Only thing you didn’t mention is the most important part. How long can the onboard batteries operate it. All I wanted to know.
