- Well this was unexpected - a Fortnite game with LEGO cats and a cozy cat island adventure. Count me in! Our fave chonka grumpy cat from LEGO Friends, Churro, stars in his own adorable island where you can hang with friends and cat buddies. It was enough to entice me to actually try Fortnite. Join me for a game walkthrough of this new island. Now, if only I could figure out the camera controls...

Stick around and I'll build for you while I review new sets and create my own customs (MOCs). I tend to geek out about new pieces, get excited about learning new and interesting building techniques, giggle too much and just generally ramble. These area with the tree houses must be the new summer release Camping tree house set, the biggest of the adventure camp sets that we are getting in the summer. Also the little wooden houses might be the new cozy campfire cottages set from the adventure camp theme. The mysterious building at 17:58 must be the "Water sports" set because it has so much equipment on, for water based activities. I can't believe that we took an early closer look!!! This game looks stunning Ellie you must take a closer look at the buildings!
I suspect Liann is in the Canoe shop as there is an easel on the top
Wow now that we know what a few of the sets look like, your guess has been proven correct! Great job taking that closer look! You never know what youll find if you look a little closer!
6:57 Tip: If you look really close on your screen you should see a white dot on the middle of the screen. Make sure that object is close to the dot, not exactly on it but close enough (just make sure no other object is in the way of the object that you are trying to pick up or clean!). Then it should say “Clean up” or “Scrub” or etc. Hope this helps!!! :)
I noticed that dot but didn’t pay any attention to it 😂. I’ll check it closer next time 👍🏼

Hey Ellie! I love this! Chonka Grompy is sooo cute! I'd say the constant motion is making queasy, but yesterday I built the Planet Earth and Moon in orbit set and I've been spinning it so much that I am already queasy!🤢 I hope that when you get all the cats, Taylor Swift will appear and sing "I am Tay Tay and you are my new best friend! And now I'm gonna take all your kitties for myself!" This is a very busy, but very fun, adorable game!💕 "Bah-noo-noo!"

There is a setting in the game to help you with motion sickness. Also try sitting straight in front of your v or monitor and turn the brightness down a little.

I may never played Fortnite, but I do find the addition of Lego-themed stuff into the game quite interesting. Also, Ninjago too has been added to the game, and I wonder if other original Lego themes such as Friends would have some content as well, such as skins (Either the 5 OG girls or the 8 new friends) and maps (Heartlake City). If only it gets added one way or another...
I’m going to have to check out the other Lego additions. I can’t play games where people are actively trying to kill me all the time, so building/adventure games in Fortnite might be fun (especially with Lego)!

I had no idea this exists, but I'm a fan of these cats so it's adorable. I love how you're messing around with the game exactly as I would if I was there 😂 and the blue hat is what I would've chosen for the cat too. 💙 I think those unknown builds are summer sets, we'll see. I'd really love to see you build the small cottages! ~Wavey ;)

Oh it’s great that you have downloaded the Lego games. You would love Lego Fortnite it is what got me into buying Lego again. My husband and I have spent hours playing. If you need some tips let me know I’ll send you a message.

I’m so confused is this Fortnight (which I know nothing about other than “it’s violent” and I can’t remember where that impression came from), or is this Animal Crossing?
Yes it’s a crime that you can’t pet the doggos in Zelda! They want you to pet them and I want to pet them and everyone wants to pet them whyyyy can’t I pet them 😭
I end up always giving them too much food instead. Apparently someone made a Zonai device in Totk just to pat Hylian retrievers but I’ve never tried it because whenever you take a built device near people they get scared and I don’t even want to risk scaring a doggo.
It's Fortnite, but it's a different game mode.

Fortnite is a fight to the death with online players, not my cup of tea at all. This is an add on creative world, I’ll have to check out the other Lego components of the game and see what they’re like.
Thats what I’d heard but this mini game got me wondering if I should’ve researched more before saying outright “no it’s way too violent for you”. Yeah it’s um, still banned here, then. Thankfully my little one is happy with Minecraft, Zelda and Pokemon (and so are his friends. Only a handful of other boys play FN in his class).
Weird that there’s this very cute benevolent cat island Lego game attached to a fight to the death game 🤨

Tbh the new Lego game modes are kinda lackluster. Not just this one, but also the Ninjago one. I wish this one was more like Animal Crossing, where you can talk to characters and stuff. Also, we should've gotten more cat options rather than just Churro recolours.
