I didn’t really understand this scene and the whole episode was pretty dumb to me . Diana was so mad at garnet when Dian was the one who chose to date garnet while Diana was Dian’s ex, and while she had a dramatic fit over it, Dian just decided to leave garnet after all so that garnet just gets no one in the end
And this is just one of those things that makes this anime so wild

Only in the first season. Later seasons take place in separate universes, so this Dian and Diana are not related.
@KittyberryApple You can start from any season, there's no continuity in-between them (although they do sometimes reference each other since some Jewelpets or relationships debut in a "trademark" way, like Rosa, and there's sometimes gags following it that have no bearing on the plot)
I've only watched tinkle, so watching this clip was certainly an experience

ok that was so uncool. How you gonna chose to date someone and then go back with the ex just cuz they throw a fit about it? Also if she needed him in her life maybe don't break up. My girl Garnet deserved better.
I knew the moment he said "I'm sorry. i have to..." that he was a lost cause. He's like those male characters that breaks up with an ex or has a friend/sister and the ex/friend/sister be throwing fits and stuff about him not being with her (the ex/friend/sister) and he goes after the ex/friend/sister leaving the mc alone💀💀 that's what this reminds me of and i hate that.
And remember, THIS WAS MADE FOR KIDS 💀💀💀
